Classic hotel with great mountain views. Well organized, clean and comfortable. Well located, everything is easily accessible by car. Good food and very friendly staff. You don't just feel like a guest here, you feel like you're being treated like family. The human encounters here, definitely made it a highlight for our trip in Sardinia. Many thanks for everything!

Perfect place, great hosts. Nice swimming pool, very rich breakfast. Clean rooms, wi-fi working. Interesting choices of menu for dinner, at terrace where the atmosphere was really special.

Indoor pool was disappointing, but no one uses pool when there is great beaches in this area! Also, walls not greatly insulated, you can hear neighbours.

I had a great stay for few days. The service and the staff were incredible, helpful, and kind. Provided me with plenty of recommendations in the area. The hotel restaurant prepares daily two set menus for dinner which were nice and convenient.

The hotel is located at the main road on the boarder of Dorgali with a breathtaking view of the surrounding valley. Our room in the new building was spacious and clean and had a nice balcony with even a deck chair. However, not all rooms have deck chairs. The staff is super friendly and helpful and also caters for special requests. Make sure to visit the roof top terrace with almost 360 views of the surrounding valley, although please note that there is no bar and no umbrellas so during daytime in summer you will not last long up there. Breakfast is OK but compared to other 4 star hotels it could have a bit more variety. It is mostly sweet with scrambled eggs apparently only on weekends. Also breakfast is only served inside although they would have a nice terrace as well. But when asking to sit outside, it was possible for us. Parking is conveniently right in front of the hotel entrance. Cala Gonone is only a few minutes away by car and so is Restaurant Ispinigoli with a breathtaking view from the terrace when dining. All in all we enjoyed our few nights at the hotel

You can see that the hotel struggles a bit with After-Corona and inflation problems. The AirCon for example is shut off during the day and only activated in the afternoon down to a certain temperature. The indoor pool is basically no use in summer when temperatures rise to 36 degrees centigrade. However, I see huge potential for the hotel when for example tidying up the rooftop terrace for sundowners or serving breakfast on the ground floor terrace. It is a good and authentic choice if you don't want to stay in way too touristy Cala Gonone.

Overall, my experience at this hotel was exceptional. The combination of stunning mountain views, cleanliness, friendly service, and a lovely breakfast made it a memorable stay. I can’t wait to return!

Very professional, accommodating and friendly host. The views were stunning. Comfortable bed and room. Fantastic artwork everywhere. My son loved his stay and even spent an afternoon playing with the kids. Would stay again.

We were upgraded to a suite with large sunny terrace with superb mountain views. Very comfortable and spacious. The proprietor was delightful and very helpful in recommending places to visit. Plenty of space to park. Hotel in excellent location on the outskirts of town, only a short drive to beautiful deserted beaches and, in the other direction, to hills carpeted in wild flowers. Quite a lot of interesting things nearby (caves, gorge, neolithic sites). We booked for 3 nights but ended up staying for 5.

Looking for things to quibble about: The breakfast was very good by Italian standards. Coffee was excellent. Could be improved with better bread and more choice of things which are not so sweet. Dinner was very good though the restaurant was very quiet as we visited out of season.

Spotlessly clean, very helpful staff. The pool was lovely and refreshing for a swim on the hot days. Breakfast was a hit for the kids, lots of sweet cakes and pastries. Fabulous views!!
