Beautifully decorated former hunting lodge with lots of quirky art, books and literary touches. Spacious room with a very comfortable bed. The pool was large and secluded and, as this hotel only has three rooms, we always had it to ourselves. Breakfast was delicious, using local produce. Giuliana could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Although they don't provide dinner, their sister hotel 15 minutes away does an excellent set menu that changes daily. (We went twice!)

The air conditioning was very noisy.

We were recommended La Casa by friends, and it was terrific. We were made extremely welcome by Julianna the hostess. La Casa is a charming property, beautifully and thoughtfully renovated in a quite location that is still close to amenities. Julianna also suggested a range of options of restaurants for dinner that evening that met our needs. She then phoned our choice to secure a reservation. The breakfast was outstanding, with lots of choice and home baked goodies. Julianna helped us to find a place to stay for a night for which we had no accommodation and for which La Casa had no availability. Once again, she phoned the location and secured this for us. We were offered an exceptional level of care and hospitality. La Casa is also in a central location in Sicily providing access to major sites of interest such as Enna and Roman villa, Villa del Casale. La Casa del Poetica a great place to base a stay in this region of Sicily.

Our host was very kind and helpful. The pool was too cold to swim in, but he opened the jacuzzi for us. He also gave me a lovely tour of the other parts of the renovated farmhouse where we were not staying. He was helpful with directions and served delicious breakfasts including eggs and yogurt, which you don't see too often in a Sicilian breakfast. The rooms were spacious and had a lot of places to hang things like wet towels and jackets. Our family of four adults truly enjoyed the fixed menu dinner at Agriturismo Bannata that was made available to us through our stay here. If you have the opportunity to have dinner here, I urge you to take advantage of it. The dinner was delicious, very relaxing, and peaceful at the other hotel about 15 minutes away by car.

The toilet seat was broken.

The house is clearly designed with care. It looks really nice. We also appreciated the tea making station in the common area. The breakfast was nice with lots of choice (sweet and savory) with a lovely view of the Sicilian country side.

Even though it's very close (walking distance) to Pergusa, the road is not really safe to walk, so you're still dependent on your car in that regard. Nothing the bnb can fix though.

We were welcomed by the Owner of the Property who went out of her way to accommodate us. We were given a welcome Drink upon arrival and a full tour of the beautifully restored old building. She explained all the history and surrounding area. Breakfast was great with fresh homemade Cakes, Jams and Local Bread. One of us was Coeliac and they brought in specific products and even made them their own Cake. Private and safe Parking was available on site.

It was absolutely breathtaking property. We had previously been staying in Taromina and it was great to come to a peaceful place. We felt completely relaxed immediately after arriving. The room was huge and so stylish! The hosts were really welcoming. Also we had eggs, toast, fruit for breakfast which we loved. I just wish we had booked to stay longer!

There was no hot water when we arrived but it didn’t matter to us, there had been a big thunderstorm which affected the electricity. I think it also affected the WiFi but given how beautiful the house was, we didn’t mind.

The owner lady appeared for one breakfast and almost didnt say hello. No questions about their guests, no conversation. To use a washer for three tshirts they wanted to charge 15€. The wifi is absolutlety not stabile (in general no problem for us, but the payment by card didnt work because of that and nobody told us).

Very calm and quiet place, about 20min from Enna and 30min from Piazza Armerina. The appartment was really spacious, nicely decorated and there was absolutely no need of using airconditioning (although it is available into the room). Swiming pool was just... fantastic, a place you want to stay for hours! Breakfast was excellent! Although there was no fridge at our appartment, we could leave our waters, beverages etc into a common fridge at the restaurant area (accessible 24hrs a day) Staff was extemely polite and helpful!

Because we had our baby daughter with us and there were some steep stairs at the appartment, I might add something like a small door to restrict the infant from reaching these stairs (but that was not much of a problem though)

Beautiful stay here, host was an absolute delight and allowed us to choose our room given we were the first guests to check in. Pool was very well kept and made for a relaxing getaway from the tourist hustle and bustle. Ideal for a stop over in between travels from Catania to Palermo and would happily stay again.

A welcoming host in a house full of character. This place has been decorated and renovated to perfection. Apart from the special vibe, this house provides everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended
