The property is in the middle of the hills of Agrigento which offers an amazing view on those hills. We particularly liked enjoying the view from the pool and the restaurant which, by the way, was beyond any expectations. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and felt like we visited a family rather than a hotel. Every staff member was welcoming and very helpful. It is worth noting that the room was equipped with absolutely everything needed and more. Definitely recommend this place for everyone who wants to enjoy Agrigento in a relaxed environment.

You’d need a car to be able to reach the place, I doubt public transport would be a comfortable option. It’s not a downside, rather a thing to keep in mind.

- nice location, in a remote area, away from the city (although, it's close to a racing track); - hotel is a beautiful, with an amazing landscaping job; - room is very nice, clean, the bed and pillows are just perfect; - the staff is very kind, helpful and welcome; - meals at the hotel are very good.

- if there's an event at the racing track, it's practically impossible to stay at the pool area, for instance (too loud of a noise); - there was some sort of general electrical problem at the hotel, so lights would go out very often, which would reconfigure room temperature, bathtub functionality, and so on; - bathtub takes ages to warm up, so i guess that a prior notice would be appreciated; - minibar practically doesn't cool down properly.

You do get luxury and luxurious setting. Staff are very friendly and so is the owner. The dinner we had was excellent as the chef was very good .

The breakfast was OK . We felt there should be a hot cooked option. Although there was yogurt, fruits and walnuts , the quality of the rest was poor and not in line with the quality of the dinner . We would have been happy with a less choice of the baked goods , breads( again a quality issue) and replace all of these with one good quality bread and good quality croissants. The coffee is very good .

Close enough to Valle dei Templi and to Agrigento ( around 20 minutes by car), but in a calm hill with view over the ocean. Incredible swimming pool. The hotel looks brand new and looks even better than the pictures. We stayed in the “glamping” area, in the tents, which were comfortable and well equipped ( very basic cooking area). The bed and linen were high quality. Breakfast was correct.

They hosted a private party during our stay, which was very noisy (but finished at midnight). The restaurant is very expensive.

Terreforti Luxury Village is a beautiful modern hotel with the most welcoming and accommodating staff. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home. Breakfast each morning was always delicious and we had a fabulous dinner one of the nights of our stay. We are most thankful for the extra effort by Salvatore, Carmelo, Antonio and Giuseppe. We look forward to returning again!

Everything was perfect!

Giuseppe made us very welcome on our arrival and everyone worked hard to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel is stylish and comfortable and the grounds are beautifully landscaped and superbly planted out. The restaurant has a tempting menu and the service from Massimo is excellent! There is a good spread for breakfast and the ladies are attentive and helpful.

The isolated location means that without a car you are very dependent on taxis, but then exploring the Agrigento region without a car is challenging in any case.

A beautiful and charming oasis. Beautifully finished new property with a great vista, excellent facilities and the best dinner we ate in Italy. Highly recommended.

The rooms were very modern and clean, as was the pool and other outdoor / indoor areas. Amazing views of sunset from the villa. Staff were so helpful and friendly, we were made to feel very welcome. Good location if you don’t want to be in the centre - this was the perfect base for us to see the main sites in Agrigento via car.

Terreforti Luxury Village is an absolutely wonderful place to stay while visiting Agrigento, the Valley of the Temples, the Museo Archeologico, and also even Piazza Armerina and Villa dei Cassale. First and foremost, the service at the resort is worthy of a 5-star rating. The arrival and registration experience was especially warm and friendly as if visiting a friend’s home rather than a hotel. The facilities are virtually brand new, having only recently opened, and additional expansion and improvements (health spa, spectacular new restaurant space, additional lodging suites) are underway. The resort has been developed on a family-owned property that once produced local agricultural products. The gardens on and surrounding the property have been reimagined with the upmost detail to trees, flowers and native plants, just as the rest of the hotel has incorporated elements that make the stay more like a calming retreat. There are great views available from everywhere on the property. Even though Terreforti is a most modern resort, what sets it even further above is that it comes with classic Italian warmth and personal service. When Giuseppe noticed that my wife had a minor eye infection, he insisted on going to the farmacia himself to secure some eye medication for her. Upon our arrival, Carmelo was most engaging and helpful as he checked us in, and there is not a better Maitre d'Hotel in all of Italy than Massimo. This is all because Salvatore, the owner of the lovely establishment, is frequently on the property and pays attention to every detail to make sure guests are happy and satisfied. Finally, the restaurant experience is the best. Breakfasts are personal and unhurried. Dinners are delicious, served on a glass enclosed terrace that will be surpassed with the completion of the new spectacular restaurant with views of everything. It's a bit outside the Agrigento tourist sites, but that is a great benefit. We most highly recommend this resort.

Booking with booking.com was wayy more expensive than I had planned had I just called direct would have been less but I wouldn’t had found them without the website so you can’t always win :) Need Dumbbells: I know they just finished building out their gym and it looks beautiful on the first floor but for meat heads like me a suggest a mini cheap 5lb to 55lb dumbbell rack and set and then it’s a 125% facility to get jacked, get your tan on and enjoy
