We were en route from Switzerland to Milan and this was a perfect spot for stopping in. The room was great for our stay, the beds were comfy and the views from the window (castle side) was amazing. There is a carpark and a public toilet opposite which I was unsure of, as there was an event on in the local park, but it was all very quiet and peaceful even when everyone was leaving the fete! We had dinner and breakfast which was very tasty and plentiful. The staff did an amazing job as they had a coach-load staying but that didn't have any impact on their efficiency and friendliness. There isn't a kettle/drinks in the room but there is a cosy bar downstairs and space to sit outside too so that was perfect for us.

Pretty location, rustic, very friendly staff and very clean. Comfortable rooms, really lovely.

The only thing is we booked last minute on route and missed the deadline for booking restaurant by 5pm and although they had availability in the room, they didn’t appear to have enough food for 3 more guests. Egg and chips would have sufficed after long travel and we were forced to go out and find a restaurant which was pet friendly. Maybe in future a simple provision for omelettes or something very simple should be made available for late bookers on route, otherwise lovely and would stay there again !

Hotel was nice, like waking up in a postcard with the views. Field out the back of the hotel which was great for giving the dog a good run and ball chase, Espresso was outstanding and breakfast very nice. The staff were very friendly. WiFi was useless but mobile reception excellent

We've stayed at this hotel a few times now (and will again!), and each time it's been great. Very comfortable, dinner menu is quite simple and somewhat traditional, and the food was very nice. Breakfast is excellent and plentiful. Lovely views from the balcony. Great location, convenient for the autostrada.

Only a very minor thing against, but the wifi is a bit flaky. OK for normal email and web browsing, but anything requiring a bit more bandwidth like streaming tended to intermittently struggle a bit.

Very convenient location- Near Fenis castle in a quit environment but few minutes from the autostrada. Nice room, very clean. All the members of the staff are always smiling and giving you the feeling you are at their home and not a guest in hotel. Free parking.

I will be happy if they could provide more vegetables at the breakfast

I really loved the concept behind this "ethical" hotel, and I would love to see more initiatives like this one. Our rooms were comfortable, and we had a good and pleasant dinner at the hotel's restaurant. It is also well-located, directly in front of the Castle of Fènis - we took a walk in the evening up to the Castle, and it was spectacular and safe. A lovely stay, recommended!

flower irrigation was switched on in the middle of the night and dripped like a waterfall onto my balcony you can hear every noise in the neighboring rooms, even in the more distant ones

Great location literally in front of Castle Fénis. Quiet place good environment to relax. Big room super clean with large bed. Refurbished bathroom. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Delicious dinner and cheesecake. Plenty of parking in front of hotel.

The rooms were great, the view spectacular, and all the staff were so nice to us and helpful!

The breakfast could have a broader selection of hot foods, BUT what was provided was still very good!

This was our second stay at this hotel. A very pretty hotel in a super location. Quiet, but handy for the motorway. It's an ideal stopover point for us on our semi-regular trips between Italy and the UK. The style is quite traditional with a very welcoming atmosphere. The rooms very comfortable, and breakfast is excellent. We will be back!
