The location is phenomenal with its view, but so is the whole object - beautiful, vintage building with cozy, soulful rooms and corridors. And of course the restaurant, serving nice breakfasts and really tasty Italian dishes. Of course you can eat them at the terrace with breathtaking view at the mountains and Iseo Lake. Almost forgot, I've had many coffees in Italy, but the cappuccino here remains my favourite! And at last, the people that work there and run this place. Humble, warm-hearted and positive. An unforgetable memory to my whole vacation. Words can't describe how grateful I am that I've met you! If you are reading this: Capo e ragazze, grazie mille. Sarai per sempre nel mio cuore.

It was a beautiful time. One of those stays, that one doesn’t forget. Hotel Poggio d'Oro is a sweet and charming, traditional Albergo with one of the most stunning views of a lake that I have ever seen. What really gives the place its soul though, is the people. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at ease. The family that runs the Albergo is extremely kind and generous. If you’re in need of a relaxing getaway at Lago d'Iseo, there’s probably not many better options than this one. I hope to be back on day. Grazie e alla prossima!!✨💫🌄

Food great, staff great, room as expected.

Had trouble finding it. No address, no instructions, hotel name on building was high on the building and nearly impossible for a driver to see it. Put some signage at the level of a drivers eyes and put some landmarks in the ads, like "if you reach a certain street you went too far." Or "If you pass this place you're almost there."

Absolutely recommended family run hotel in a beautiful place. The owners and staff were so kind and friendly, we felt like at home. The rooms and the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was plenty, and erverything was super celan. Very convenient to have the possibility to dine in. Hope to return soon!

Not a big thing but may be improved: I personally prefer shower gel to the normal soap.

The view from the hotel is spectacular. The staff are amazingly friendly and warm (and I don't speak Italian) and our room (#5) was spacious and comfortable. The outdoor pergola style dining area overlooking the lake makes a lovely setting for meals. Breakfast was indoors because if the substantial buffet laid out with freshly made coffee to hand.

Nothing, except I personally don't like hard pillows. I have seen comments on the decor but to my mind it was, all part and parcel of the charm and experience. There is a very large electric pylon in front of the hotel but with the view on hand you soon stop seeing it!

Stunning location on Lake Iseo with breathtaking views from the window of our room. From the high position you escape both the humidity from the lake and the noise from heavy traffic. The staff are extremely friendly, always on hand if you need anything and the abundant breakfast makes this hotel great value for money. Enjoying the traditional, typical food from the area on the restaurant terrace above the lake makes dining here a truly delightful experience.

I stayed 5 night on Poggio D'oro. The host is Roberto and his family. They are super profesional. Roberto has "charm" he is every moment careful , he is there for his guests. My holiday at Poggio D'oro was SUPER. bonus: -the room was super clean (they change the towels every day) -I recomend you to eat the menu of the day- is delicious -the view is breathless

Great view, the hosts are down-to-earth in a lovely way and offer an classic italian atmosphere.

In the single room, please change the mattress into a new one. In my opinion, I would've payed 10 euros more a night for a room like that, if the bed is equipped with a modern mattress, not that one from the 1970s :))) At least I got an extra blanket to save my back a bit...

In a lovely position slightly above the road around the lake, with excellent views. Lovely people who made us very welcome. Comfortable room and a delicious biscotti gift when we left.

It is in a quiet position which might not suit everyone.

Fabulous views of the lake, the staff were great and friendly ,ate there both evenings food home cooked and tasty, the desserts were a joy
