Overall the guest house is a really nicely maintained palazzino full of character and in a location that's convenient for Rome, Lazio province and Umbria. The breakfasts up on the rooftop terrace were a pleasure each morning. It was lovely to chat with Maria, the manager. She prepared fried eggs and tomatoes for us on request, in addition to the standard help-yourself items.

The shower cubicle is a bit ordinary. The shower head is fixed and drips a bit after you turn off the water. If you're not washing your hair, use a shower cap. There are two or three free parking spaces outside the guest house but you have to ascend a narrow ramp in order to reach them. If you're going to hire a car, go for a small one.

Stunning renovated house with lots of character. Comfortable room with a bath. Maria was a wonderful host recommending a good restaurant nearby, put the heating on in our room before we returned and breakfast up on the terrace with views of Rome was fabulous. It was an enclosed terrace but she put the fire on to take the chill off. A most enjoyable stay on the via Francigena.

This is an absolutely beautiful building and our hostess was wonderful. Our room was very quiet and very comfortable. We were cycling and there was a secure enclosed garden where we could store our bikes. Breakfast was great. Highly recommend!

Our room was a bit small and more expensive than other places we have stayed in the nearby area. No ability to make coffee in the room.

Maria is an excellent host, very friendly and happy to help. I had a very pleasant stay at the La Meridiana Relais and would certainly stay there again.

Just a very small tip: add an "extension socket" on the television table to charge telephone (avoids pulling other plugs)

Maria greeted with us with a smile and accommodated our bicycles in a safe space. The whole property is lovely, beds comfortable with wonderful amenities. breakfast was in a special nook upstairs with a lovely setting and wonderful meal to get us going on our next bike route. She was very pleasant to deal with all around. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Well run. Everything in order. The host lent my wife an ice pack for her knee. Proper toiletries not the Mickey Mouse gel sachets you sometimes find

Stunning terrace where you could have breakfast. Beautiful historic building. Formello is a lovely small town with great restaurants.

It was a shame that the restaurant within the hotel wasn't open in the evening.

This place brings you family and friends communities feelings, with beautiful antique furnitures, artistic style around the whole building, with peaceful rooftop views, specially when the garden restaurant and many facilities are ready I can sure this place will be a very delicate boutique hotel become a must see place.

What a wonderful place to stay! Extremely clean and beautifully decorated. Surpassed all of our expectations.
