Viola exceeded our expectations. Exceptional staff (shout out to the charming Domenico, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay). Lovely breakfast. Spacious, comfortable and clean rooms. Great location steps from the beach. Super value. Can't imagine staying anywhere else if we return to Gaeta.

This doesn't even count as a complaint, since we loved our stay. When visiting Gaeta, you can choose to be close to Borgo Elena with its plentiful restaurants, or close to Serapo beach — but not both. Even so, the old town is just a 20 minute walk away from Hotel Viola and we always felt safe at night.

It was a lovely surprise as wasn’t expecting such a high standard. The staff and owner were exceptionally kind and helpful the hotel was immaculately clean and the room very spacious and comfortable with good air conditioning . The location whilst not prime was but a five minute walk to the beach in a reasonably quiet road with ample parking 12 euros for 24 hours the ticket available from the hotel and entitling you to park throughout the town on blue spaces. All in all a great experience

The women staffing the hotel were so friendly and went 'above and beyond' to make our stay enjoyable. For example, they organised for us an English language tour of the castle/prison. The location was perfect for the beach, the supermarket and the medieval town of Gaeta. The room was very clean and the air con worked super well, which was a Godsend. My son loved the mini custard doughnuts served at breakfast!

Great Staff, high responsive towards clients. If you ask for some information they'll do maximum efforts to help you. The Breakfast is simple but energic. The walking distance to the Serapo Beach is about 2 min by walking. Great place to stay.

Breakfast was always fresh and abundant, with fresh espresso and peace, the staff was extremely kind and accommodating: professional to the top! The room was big and very clean, serviced every day.

The room was not completely insulated, so I could hear the guests of the room upstairs while they were walking. However, with earplugs, I slept completely fine.

The property was in an ideal location. The staff everyday was professional and friendly! The room and property was exceptionally clean. They had a little bar for drinks whenever you asked! Loved it

Nothing everything was good

Breakfast was good, but there wasn't much to choose from. Coffee is served by a waiter who comes regularly, asking if you would like some more. The room was nice, and the bed was perfect. The staff was very friendly and gave us information on the tourism in the area.

I would have liked a little more to choose from at the breakfast table.

nice small hotel 5 minutes away form beach and restaurants on the other side. receptionist was very nice and welcoming and even Russian speaking, she helped us to get room a bit earlier than check in time. all other stuff was great as well. Room was nice and very clean with small balcony.

just be aware that shower was a bit small and we did not find any hair dryer

A very clean organized hotel perfect for our stay in Gaeta, close to ferry to Ponza in Formia. A short drive to ancient Gaeta Old Town for strolling and dinner. Comfortable beds, helpful staff, very good value.
