From the first minute to the last this was an excellent experience. The staff were all friendly, polite and efficient. The room was comfortable, cosy, and quiet. The restaurant was excellent, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Well located, less than 10 minutes walk from Lugo station.

The only thing I can think of is that it would have been nice to have a hook or two on the back of the bathroom door. Such a small thing though!

We are a family of four and stayed in a one-bedroom apartment.I had somehow imagined the apartment would be next to the hotel or something, but it was about a three-minute walk away.It has everything you need, except a water kettle.There is a cozy local trattoria on the same street.It’s easy to access the hotel if you don’t mind walking. We enjoyed our stay there. Hotel staff, especially at the reception were all very friendly.

When you stay on the apartment side, you can park your car in the private area inside the gate in front of the apartment. I know it can’t be helped because it’s a renovated old building in a crowded residential area, but parking can be a bit tricky if you have a big car. I would recommend coming with as small a car as possible. Our bedroom faced the street, and there was quite a bit of traffic, especially in the morning. If you are a light sleeper, it might bother you quite a bit.

Breakfast is very rich and excellent, similarly if you decide to take advantage of the restaurant, quality is also excellent and at a reasonable price. Personnel is kind. Kettle and minibar present in the room.

The hotel is quite old, despite room was renovated. Furniture is essential (but with a good desk and sockets). I didn't manage to make the AC work: the "old" device to control it wasn't working and apparently there is a slot for a new device, but just the slot, nothing in. I've anyway to admit that I didn't ask for help on that. Parking place is mandatory there, the one provided by the hotel comes at 10€ / day and is very narrow with limited places (reservation warmly suggested). In other words it's not small the space allocated to each car, but when full it's very difficult to get in / out due to the very limited maneuvering space.

Wonderful premises easilly accessible, very kind and helpful employees (receptionists, cleaning ladies, waitresses), amazing selection for breakfast. Really close to Ravenna (Lugo is very beautiful as well) and the area all around, lots of supermarkets, nice restaurants and lots of parking places around the hotel that cost very little. The hotel room was big for my 4-member family, the matresses really comfortable and the bathroom amazing. We were initially planing to spend four days in the area, but we liked the hotel so much that we extended our trip by two more days!!!!The PERFECT hotel for our stay. We would definitely recomend it!!!

The personnel was very friendly and always there for the customer. The Hotel is very nice and cozy. The breakfast was good, nothing special, but all you need to have a nice meal. The variety of meat and cheese was great. The only warm breakfast option was scrambled eggs. You can order (included in breakfast) freshly brewed coffee (cappuccino, cafe latte, espresso etc.). If you are traveling with a car, you can book the hotel parking in advance (10 euro/ day), but there is also a possibility to park the car outside in the city (70 cents per hour). The huge plus is that the rooms have air conditioning.

The team from reception to restaurant was indeed 5 star. This is what I value the most, presence, attentiveness and empathy. There an elegant board of all "famous" people that stayed at the hotel and the team member names should be there too 😀 Loved the dinner: a simple, yet huge cold cuts and cheese assembly on a wooden board, along with the proposed local doc white wine it could not have been more connected to the territory. When I booked this Hotel I expected small familly run hotel but instead found very well run professional hotel with super kind staff, confy and quiet rooms. It's definetly hi class accomodation. Just take a look at guest book on the wall oposite to reception. Some very known names are there. Perfect beds (on the hard side) quiet, nice bathroom and everyday cleaning service. Hi-class like I said.

I will prefere more traditional or local brekfast giving the fact we are in Emilia Romagna. Not that breakfast is bad or something but the same one you will find in Bruxelles or Hamburg or...

We were passing through this city and we were lucky to book this hotel very cheaply at the last moment. The room was very clean, large in size, the bed too, it was very comfortable and pleasant to sleep in this bed. I really enjoyed the communication with the hotel staff. Everyone was very friendly, they told us the history of the hotel and various interesting details. We enjoyed walking around this small and cozy town. The breakfast was also quite good and varied. We left the car for the night right outside the hotel for free and paid only 2 euros for the first hours of the next day.

Very strong audibility from the street, corridors and neighboring rooms. We had a family in the neighborhood with children who screamed very loudly, and drunk tourists screamed very loudly on the street in the middle of the night, but I understand that nothing can be done about this, only if soundproofing is installed.

Fully deserved 10! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable - in a separate, historic building. Right in the centre of Lugo, but still peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was delicious, served in an elegant restaurant. Nothing to add, really :) The hotel staff cares about all the little details that make the stay perfect! Last but not least - the price was quite average but the experience truly exceptional!
