We originally booked one night at ReginElena B&B, but it quickly became clear we couldn’t leave so soon. We ended up staying three nights! =) Cristina (the owner) is super kind and the Mother (Elena) is lovely! We arrived by car and Cristina provided us with a special parking permit to facilitate our stay in the city centre. Cristina also gave us excellent suggestions on what to visit, where to eat and how to move around that made our stay even better. The B&B is located in the heart of Maratea with a stunning view over the city. It is a perfect blend of comfort, charm, and convenience. The facility itself is fantastic, very clean, beautifully arranged (a modern touch on an historical building), and very welcoming. ALL amenities are provided, and the beds are very comfortable. The rooms are spotless clean and each morning, Michela, treated us to a delicious breakfast, and the friendly chats made every start to the day even more special. Can’t recommend ReginElena enough. One night won’t be enough once you arrive! We will certainly come back!

Lovely property in the heart of town. Enjoyed walking through the old streets and the views across the hills and ocean. Very generous bfast with great variety.

We stayed in the front room and there was a little street / pedestrian noise in the evening. This can be expected due to the location.

Great location in Matera Centro storico, clean, renovated room with a comfortable bed and bathroom. Air conditioner works very well, terrace was lovely to relax on in the afternoon. Breakfast was great too, very easy check in and lovely accomodating hosts. Easy parking down the road

Great location in town near eateries. Relatively easy to park and leave our car safely a short walk up the road. Clean and fresh room. Lovely host with good English. Great breakfast that included eggs!

Good communication and very helpful in allowing us to store our luggage for a while after we checked out. The breakfast was nice too.

Cristina, Elena and Nina were so warm and friendly and made us feel comfortable and welcome. Cristina was very helpful and patient with all our questions. Our room and facilities were spacious and spotless and we were served a copious breakfast. .Just stepping out of the door we were in the centre of Maratea.

Wifi so slow couldn’t get anything done. Woken up at 7am by noise as the rooms adjoin the dining room. Owner friendly but after chatting just stayed staring while eating breakfast. Shower rail faulty and doesn’t hold shower head up. Room was very cold.

Christina was a beautiful host and loved our delicious breakfast served on the beautiful terrace. Beautiful, spotlessly clean, large room with o lovely view in a great location!

nice room with sufficient space and a very nice bathroom. our host was very courteous.

We were not able to cook in the kitchen due to COVID restrictions (not the property’s fault). We stayed in Maratea for 4 nights when two or three would have been sufficient. It is about a 25 minute walk down to the station and perhaps another 10 to the fantastic coastline. The walk back up would take much longer and the buses ate VERY unreliable.

The location was great in a beautiful town, central to everything, easy to find and free parking very close by. Communication with the host was excellent.

Wifi was practically non existent.
