This stay was a pleasure from the first moment till we left. The staff accommodated us with our furry and suffering from heat cat very quickly, even in spite of our slightly early arrival. The room was beautiful, stylish, spacious and very comfortable. Also walking in the corridors was like in an art museum. Breakfast was with many salty and sweet options, we really liked different stuffed pies and local pastries. The staff was friendly and made all arrangements we asked for. We totally recommend to visit the Florian winery nearby, and you can reserve at the reception.

Location is a bit far from the central part of Marsala, we mostly used car for all transportation. Funny thing that was resolved quickly - we had hot water from both taps at some point. Staff took care of it in a decent time.

Lovely traditional hotel tastefully decorated and a beautiful outdoor pool. Wide choice at breakfast including eggs cooked to order. Ice-creams and drinks served at poolside. Room was large and very comfortable with excellent air con and good shutters/curtains ensured a sound sleep.

It’s a little far out from the town centre so you have a twenty minute walk or a taxi. On the plus side it means it’s more peaceful.

Nice arrangement of obviously older buildings within an more-or-less industrial environment. Spacey room and bathroom; elevator to reach the upper floors. Nice large pool.

The high prices of the minibar-items and the breakfast. They provided a lot of sweet and salty pies and make eggs on your request, but there was no toast, no paninis, only one kind of quite tasteless cheese, no bacon, ham or baked beans, and if the stuff is emptied they don't refill. Not that I needed all these items, but the hotel claims for 5 stars.

The five-star Grand Hotel Palace is the ideal place for a vacation in a refined and luxurious Italian-Sicilian spirit. The hotel is in baroque and renaissance luxury of decadence style. The staff at the hotel are professional and simply dedicated to their guests from all over the world, from Denmark to the United States of America. The most delicious Italian wines and the best Marsali espresso coffee are served here. Breakfast at the hotel is buffet style. From Italian savory to the most delicious sweet specialties. Bartender Giovanni Lo Cascio is professional and diligent, he was at our service every second. Ms. Daniella from reception is really nice and professional. The outdoor swimming pool in particular adorns the oasis of the old Palace Hotel. The water is warm and clean. At the pool there is a beautiful garden for aperitif services and a restaurant (food and meals). Be sure to try Gambere and a sandwich with tuna, salad and a special tomato. A white wine that smells like fresh lemon perfume, it's great. The service inside the hotel goes to the signature for the room. So everything is made easy for you. You don't have to carry personal documents and money, or bank cards and wonder if you'll ever lose them. Room are amazing and luxury. We will come back to this wonderful hotel again. Marsala is a historical place that you will enjoy to the maximum. You can visit the Marakaibo beach with an agreement at the hotel reception, which will organize a transfer for you within 15 minutes from and to the hotel with a 30% discount on sunbeds and umbrellas. Very nice-looking hotel, with calm surroundings. The pool in the hotel is large. so if only it's hot outside you could spend a lot of time there, especially as the town is mostly for day-round trip. So if you are looking for hotel in which you just want to rest, take a 2-3 hour stroll around the town, and then go back to chill on the pool with some wine - totally fine choice. A supermarket is close by, so if you need to stock-up it is also totally fine to do so.

Free water in the hotel room could be appreciated. I have come to the hotel by the evening, didn't have time to catch anything to eat/drink, so for 5-stars it would be grateful to just give even a small welcome food/water pack. I think bar is also not the cheapest.

The hotel is a bit like a throwback to a bygone time, but it works. Service (pool) can be a little slow, but it's still provided and with friendly staff. The air con works brilliantly (which was needed in the inferno heat we had!) and our room was a great size and comfortable. Shower could do with an update. The best thing about this hotel though is the pool, it's massive and has a diving board for endless fun. There is lots of shade for those not wanting the sun. The restaurant isn't used by guests for anything other than breakfast which seems a shame, but there are lots of wonderful restaurants in Marsala. Hotel is located just near the old town, is walkable or there is car park 5 mins away.

Bit dated, but to be honest, that really didn't matter to us.

Nice traditional hotel on the coast and not far from the main town. Nice garden and flora around the pool with plenty of lounge space, along with waiter service. The hotel is a good size, with large rooms. Clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful.

All enjoyable but breakfast over the week was a little repetitive and limited to cold buffet and lots of sweet cakes.

The property had a nice large pool with sun loungers. It was great for cooling down in the hot summer. We could order drinks around the pool from the staff there in the afternoon. The rooms were large and very clean with a minibar / fridge. The breakfast buffet was good for Italian standards and the guy making us cappuccinos and espresso macchiatos was so friendly and nice. Staff was nice and friendly.

The hotel was a bit worn out, and the room smelled a bit like old tobacco. But it was very clean - but had a certain smell. At the breakfast a lot of items were gone by 10 am although breakfast was served until 10:30.

This hotel really went out of their way to make us welcome and give us old fashioned service. A truly excellent breakfast was included and we ate in one night and the food was, again, excellent. Especially the sea urchin pasta. The pool is a superb way to relax in a luxurious setting in the mid summer heat.

The distance from the historic center was a little more than we expected, however if you walk along the front and then take a left to the via Mazzini it's a pleasant wall past an irrestible ice cream parlor.
