Cleanliness, spacious rooms, large bathrooms with natural ventilation with glass, windows that isolate sound very well. Breakfast as assortments and service (it is much better to order than a buffet). The staff in general but Marco and Giovanni in particular were extremely kind and helped us with everything we needed including in a good mood. The location of the hotel overlooking the sea, the fact that there is a hotel restaurant available at any time and other good restaurants nearby (Cin-Cin Bar where you can try panzerotti). The first free minibar. Panoramic terrace on the 4th floor from where you can take great photos. If you don't have a car, the train station is 15-20 minutes from the hotel. If we come back we will definitely choose this hotel, which we also recommend to friends

Although it didn't affect us very much, an English-language TV program (BBC, CNN) would be useful.

The suite with sea view was enormous. Very large 4 poster bed, really comfortable and a small balcony with 2 chairs and a table. Lots of space, a large sofa and plenty of room in the bathroom. The air con was great too especially at 86 degrees. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. The food in the restaurant was very good as was the service. Breakfast was varied but you ordered it at the table, including pastries and cereal. It was very good and a great variety. You can either pay €20 per night for the valet parking or you can park on the street free of charge. There is plenty of street parking available. Lots of great restaurants around and behind the hotel in the little lanes, so you will always find somewhere new to eat. A very relaxed place and we really enjoyed our stay here. You do really need a car to get out and about, which we had.

There is a rooftop terrace where you can sit and lie down, but you can't order drinks up there so it became quite redundant. Wasn't easy (if at all possible) to sit in the lounge and order a drink or coffee which was disappointing.

Everything about the hotel was good . People who work there were extremely helpful. Frederica organized excellent restaurant in Trani for my husbands birthday , booked us taxi etc. Breakfast was excellent . Roof top bar has fantastic view and good selection of drinks. Size of the room was good. Curtains were good in the room .

No where to park . Strange surroundings of the hotel . Wonderful hotel with beautiful roof top terrace and 14th century church nearby surrounded by kebab shop, public toilet, hundreds of tents selling cheap things. Loud music in the evenings because of some festival. It feels like a 5 star hotel in the middle of a gypsy camp. Balcony had the light which was on all night. Was it really necessary ? Not sure . Did not feel like a good feature. We could not switch it off.

The staff were friendly. The rooms are incredibly comfortable. Located in a great area of Molfetta. The breakfast which is included is excellent with a good selection of food & drink available.. We also had our evening meal there one night this was also exceptional.

The roof top bar is only open In the evening. It’s such a nice area it should be available for drinks & food throughout the day. It’s not clear that you have to pay extra to use the Spa facilities online. This could be more of a Booking.com issue than Dogana Resort.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the stunning architecture and the incredible location — it truly exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfect: the rooftop terrace with breathtaking views, the elegant dinner restaurant, the made-to-order breakfast, and the private spa session that felt like pure luxury. The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. All in all, we couldn’t be happier. Full praise to the entire team, and we would definitely return without hesitation.

The property was great as a part of history and close to the water. The room was comfortable and the staff were great. I expected more from a place that advertises itself as a “resort” and a “spa.” I liked the availability of coffee and water, and slept well, though the kind bed wasn’t a king bed, but two twins pushed together.

The spa wasn’t available at any point during my stay. I was told I needed to make reservations, but it was never available. There’s no fitness center. Breakfast was OK and the staff were great, but the serving sizes were small and the selection wasn’t very good. I ate dinner at the attached restaurant and it was good, but overpriced. Also, I arrived on a Sunday and walked to more than ten restaurants near the hotel, but nothing was open. So location is good (very local, quiet, near the water), but maybe not good (most places weren’t open and there was many places nearby) depending on what the traveler cares for.

It was a beautifully restored seventeenth century property. The decor was very calming and tranquil. The old elements of the building were beautifully integrated into the modern decor. Our room included breakfast which was cooked to order. It was excellent. The staff was outstanding, and gave us good recommendations for places to eat.

We could have used a chest of drawers in the room. Because there was minimal furniture in the room, we had to live out of our suitcases.

Dogana Resort is an old Customs House in the port of Molfetta converted into a wonderful modern 5 star hotel, with all modern amenities. Room 210 was wonderful… high ceiling, king bed, modern bathroom, balcony overlooking the port and city, the view of the port and sunset was out of this world. The rooftop terrace sky bar is the place to be, with a glass of wine around sunset, with more amazing views. The class, the service and food at the Dogana restaurant is out of this world. The Maître D recommended food based on our taste, and we had a wonderful dinner. The breakfast is a plenty, and amazing. Last but not least, all the staff in the resort are very cordial, professional and accommodating. We loved our stay, and will definitely come back!

This is a magnificent hotel in a great location in a beautiful little town. The building itself is incredible and its renovation is perfect. The staff are extremely pleasant and competent. The breakfast was delicious. The technical equipment in the rooms (eg., Wifi and A/C) are great and very efficient. This is literally a perfect hotel. One little thing I especially liked: the charge for valet parking overnight is EUR 20, which is totally reasonable. I love a hotel that doesn't nickel and dime customers on things like this.

The location is fantastic and it has a very friendly team. We visited Molfetta from September 24th until 28th and the weather was still very nice (26-30 degrees). We had a Deluxe 2 persons room with balcony and sea view. They have a great breakfast a la cart. Furthermore, there are several nice restaurants nearby. Visited several cities as Bari, Giovinazzo, Polignano, Alberobello and Matera by (rent)car. Overall it is a beautiful area/region. We used the APP Komoot for walking routes.
