• Wonderful location surrounded by nature: The property is situated in a picturesque setting, surrounded by olive trees. It’s the perfect place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city – the peace and quiet were exactly what we needed. At the same time, it served as a great base for exploring various places in Apulia, such as Monopoli, Alberobello, and Polignano a Mare. • Cleanliness and comfort: The rooms were impeccably clean and very comfortable. The amenities met our expectations – from the comfortable bed to fast Wi-Fi. • Friendly staff: Dongiovanni, Tanya, and Valentina were extremely helpful and polite. Always ready to answer questions and provide assistance.

There’s no such a thing

The property is amazing! We were there in April, so we didn't swim in the pool, but we did dip our toes and loved sitting by the water. Location is great for doing trips to all the nearby gems, such as Monopoli (10 min drive), Polignano a Mare (14 min drive), Bari, Alberobello, Ostuni... We arrived from Matera, which was an hour drive away. So it's a strategic position. Owners are very nice, they even upgraded our room and provided a bed for our toddler free of charge. Breakfast was also nice, lots of everything. We also appreciated safe parking spot. I would definitely recommend a visit, you won't regret it :)

The room is set in an extremely peaceful location amongst the olive and fruit trees. It is part of a charming old farm set about 12 mins from the centre of Monopoli. The staff and owner are extremely hospitable, friendly, kind people. Breakfast was served in a lovely alfresco setting and was delicious, with some variety each day. There is a cabana next to the pool with coffee, beer wine and soft drinks available on an honesty system. Great beds by the clean pool and around the olive trees. There is a roof terrace offering panoramic views over the region out to the ocean. The room was a generous size and had good doors and windows (with flyscreens), including in the bathroom, which is always good. Even though there were quite a number of people staying at the property, it never felt like it, and you always had your own quiet space. The property is a fantastic base from which to explore the region. There are some great local restaurants within a few minutes drive. We were very sad to leave this place and the lovely people.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rate B&B Don Giovanni Monopoli, and it was a fantastic experience. The manager went above and beyond to make everyone feel at home, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The facilities were excellent, especially for families with children. Overall, our stay at Rate B&B Don Giovanni Monopoli was truly memorable, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

A very nice B&B in the country side, that we can for sure recommend. If ever going back to Monopoli, we will try to stay at Don Giovanni' s one more time. Don Giovanni´s B&B is clean, cosy, calm and relaxing. The staff is so friendly and service minded. The B&B is close to local restaurants with great food. It takes 20 minutes to drive to Don Giovanni´s from Monopoli.

Everything was perfect, friendly staff (both Tanya and specially Valentina) very responsabile who helped us for tips and visiting the area. Clean rooms, good breakfast, Puglia vibe, strategic position for visiting the best spots around Monopoli. Thanks also to the host Giovanni who helped us with check in and give us all the information needed for this short stay. Highly recommended !

The welcoming staff: Valentina whose communication was outstanding, as well as Tania and of course the owner, Giovanni. Breakfast was magnificent as was the access to the pool.

The lack of a safe. However, the property and the guests were all very respectful and faced no incidents.

Everything was amazing! The location, surroundings, staff was really helpful and with a very good vibe. A special thanks to Valentina which support us during our stay. She was very kind, replay very quick to our messages and was very willing to help. The room was very comfortable and we had all we need there.

Beware of the moscitos in the evening

Very friendly staff. A relaxing environment set in spacious grounds offering nice walks which is lit up at night to create magical memories to savour. The property is a delight. Numerous areas to relax in for those special moments including a covered breakfast area which is warm and spacious.

Room is basic with a relatively little natural night.
