Gianfranco is an absolutely amazing host. He went out of his way to make us feel very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and consisted of breakfast lunch and dinner all in one. He always encouraged us to take the leftovers with us so we could eat something at lunch. He even provided us with an umbrella and chairs to go to the beach. Chiara, the cook was also a fabulous hostess. She cooked us the most amazing breakfasts: omelettes, quiche, foccacchia. She even made eggplant parmiggiana one day (for breakfast!!!)

I really cannot say one negative thing about this place. When we left, I was a bit teary eyed because I felt like we were saying goodbye to family members.

This was my favourite stay in all of Italy. It felt like a home away from home, only better. The pictures don’t do it justice - it is even more beautiful when you arrive. The rooms (and the shower) were the largest we had in Italy and it was absolutely spotless. We were even treated to a glass of wine on arrival as we arrived in the evening and a local bottle of wine in our room which we enjoyed by the pool one evening. A great base - from here we did day trips to otranto, monopoli, ostuni, polignano o mare, cisterino and alberello! Our Italian was very basic but Gianfranco was absolutely fabulous with his google translate. And breakfast! The best breakfast in Italy - served in the morning 8:30-9:30, don’t miss it as it’s delicious and was such a nice way to start the day. Gianfranco is an amazing host. The welcome was second to none and even though his english is limited. He went out of his way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The room was lovely spotlessly clean as is the whole place . Lovely pool. The breakfast is second to none . So much choice . All delicious and fresh and a new surprise every morning we were there. He makes you feel so at home . Couldnt recommend enough. We will return .

Gianfranco and Ciara were perfect hosts - generous, helpful and fun. They provided a wonderful spread of local, traditional Italian food at breakfast (including home made liqueurs!) and encouraged us to take extra for our lunch! The rooms were clean and comfortable and we were able to visit a number of local towns and villages from La Casetta, by car.

Gianfranco is the best host I have ever had, better than family! he will make you feel part of his property and home from the first minute. every time we are in Puglia we will return to spend time with him! Experience the best treatment, the best homemade food, and real Italian hospitality with him, you will be extremely satisfied

Everything was perfect! Maybe let breakfast time be a little longer but if not, we don't care! it was worth it waking up early and spending the day around Puglia

The photos on Booking don’t do justice to how lovely the property actually is. It’s immaculately maintained - it’s obvious that Gianfranco has poured his heart and soul into La Casetta. The rooms were large and comfortable as well as modern and clean, Gianfranco has thought of everything you would need for a pleasant stay in Puglia. The breakfast is also a huge spread of fresh pastries, fruit from the farm and freshly cooked breakfast dishes like frittatas, omelettes, etc. Gianfranco was also so accommodating to our every need, he made us afternoon coffees and recommended the best places in the area to have dinner. It really felt like he was our trip fairy godfather!! we were so sad to leave, but know we will be back!

Ambient is amazing, view is ridiculous, breakfast is different every morning and perfect every morning, full of local specialties! Gianfranco is as good host as it can get. Thank you mister for your hospitality and kindness 😊 We will most definitely come again!
