The staff at the property were smiley, courteous and well trained. We had a lovely room (20) which was upstairs and whilst it was probably closest to the events area we didn’t get bothered by the noise. The room was on two levels which is a bit of a trip hazard but you could light the step. The bathroom was clean and modern and the towels changed daily (Dock of the Bay type). The bed was comfortable and there were blackout blinds to aid sleep. Open hanging/shelving for clothes. The restaurant was beautiful and breakfast great. We had a lunch and an evening meal and I would say whilst the food was good quality but the menu was limited to a small choice. The hot tub was fabulous but I didn’t use the pool as the bottom was a bit brown.

We were expecting “no pets” as listed in the hotel policies. I counted 3 dogs and they entered the restaurant which we thought was unacceptable. I also saw a couple of cats jumping an outside table to finish someone’s breakfast. I wouldn’t have booked if I’d known which would have been a shame.

Simple elegance, wonderful service, incredible breakfast—continental plus made to order omelettes, eggs, etc (truly beyond any breakfast we’ve had throughout years of European travel), professional, very warm staff, gorgeous room, fabulous pool and gardens… Really excellent restaurant and superior staff all around. Roberto, at reception, special applause for his warm, individual attention and enthusiasm!

You must have a car to explore Monopoli. We did not and had to spend 20e each way to go to the town and the beach. One big disappointment was learning that beach access through a partner beach club was not included in the stay at the hotel, contrary to our understanding through the booking process. 35e per person for a very crowded, small beach gives you two lounge chairs, one umbrella and a token for the outdoor showers. Not at the level the exquisite Masseria Torrepietra would lead you to expect.

Masseria Torrepietra is a beautiful place to stay. Staff is really friendly and everything is just very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again, bonus points for the excellent breakfast. The pool area is pretty big and had a relaxed atmosphere and the rooms are spacious. Staff gave us good tips for beaches and places to go in the area and helped us arrange some activities at the masseria.

Two things that can make it even more amazing: - light blocking curtains; due to the sunny weather in Puglia, the room can get very bright, even in the morning. Sleeping masks are provided but not everyone likes to sleep with one on. - the masseria is also a wedding location and music can be heard throughout the place until late in the evening, even in the rooms. It would have been great to have been informed upon check-in.

A Pleasant Stay with a Few Minor Setbacks. We had a lovely stay at this hotel and were especially impressed by the exceptional service, the staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure guests felt welcome and well cared for. Their helpful and friendly manner made a genuine difference throughout our visit. There were, however, a couple of drawbacks. The dining options were somewhat limited, both during the day and in the evening. While the dinner menu was thoughtfully prepared, it leaned toward the more elaborate side, which may not appeal to all tastes. Additionally, we were disappointed to discover that the swimming pool was closed for maintenance. Unfortunately, this was only communicated to us on the day of arrival, which felt like a missed opportunity for more transparent pre-arrival information. On the positive side, the breakfast was excellent, fresh, plentiful, and well presented. It's worth noting that the hotel is not centrally located, so unless you're driving, be prepared to rely on taxis for getting around. Overall, a pleasant and welcoming hotel with great staff, but a few small issues that, if addressed, would make for an even better experience.

Unaware of the pool being closed for our stay.

We like the overall ambience of the property, sadly the pool had not yet opened, the bar area and outside seating was very nice. We ate in the restaurant on 2 nights and the food was lovely, the 2nd night was my birthday and a cake was produced for me. Alessandro was super attentive and Aberto was quietly super efficient both added greatly to our trip at both breakfast and dinner... thank you both. The only small criticism would be that the dinner menu was the same both nights with only 2 choices for each course but this did not spoil our stay in anyway.

The pool would have made a difference.

This place has such a Italian rustic feel to it.Every morning we came to breakfast to find our place card on a different table for breakfast. Breakfast was delicious and set in a gorgeous stone rustic room with lovely music.The property is magnificent, pool divine and pool chairs are fantastic! This is a truly amazing place to stay for 4 days! Bed was comfortable and air conditioning is great! I give it a 10!

Authentic & staff went out of there way to help. Breakfast lovely, pool lovely.

There wasn’t adequate hanging space to dry 3 pool towels. Swimwear, 3 bath towels & hand towels. There wasn’t anyway to hang a hand towel so bath towels were provided everyday which in todays climate is unnecessary. Sofa’s/chairs in bar area are very uncomfortable. Hotel promotes it private beach but they don’t have one. When I pointed this out they paid for us to use another private beach. They also advertise horse riding but don’t mention it’s for 14+. Overall we loved the place but a few amendments are needed.

The grounds are pretty and the staff was very kind! They went above and beyond for my birthday, and helped us stay dry while checking out on a rainy day. Their care extends to their breakfast: a wide array of warm and cold options, plus eggs to order.

A lot of moonlight seeped into the bedroom, but they did try to offset this with complimentary eyemasks. I could also hear my neighbors in their room (during the day) and others walking back to their room (at night). For the former, they took care of it right away; calling the neighbors and asking them to lower their voices.

The Masseria is truly exquisite! I can’t believe the value for the money as this place should have easily been a 5 star resort. Also, the staff are so helpful and nice. They went over and above to make our honeymoon very special.

Our stay was excellent! Highly recommend. I stayed 4 nights, very comfortable beds, spacious quiet room, excellent breakfast and the restaurant is also very good if you don’t feel like going into town for dinner. The grounds are beautiful and well appointed. The staff catered to all our requests. The location is excellent, easy to find near the highway.
