We really enjoyed our stay at this B&B. It is a room in a house with a private balcony or terrace. The bathroom looked neat. We arrived late (around midnight), but this was no problem with the self check in. The owner is very sweet and likes to think along with you. You can park privately. The breakfast in the restaurant is delicious. Good to know: You have to walk a short 15 minutes, but we didn't mind. Within 10 minutes you can walk to the center and explore Monopoli on foot.

The shower was getting cold after a couple minutes.

After over a month of travelling, the little things made all the difference — and this property ticked all the boxes for comfort and facilities, like having an iron, ironing board, and clothes horse on hand (a true gift when living out of a suitcase!). One of the biggest perks was the guaranteed car park right in front of our accommodation — no stress, no circling tiny streets, just easy access every time we returned from exploring. And breakfast was a highlight — fresh and delicious, served at the owner’s café just a short stroll away. A perfect start to our Monopoli mornings. ☕🍊

The only downside? The soundproofing wasn’t the best. We had some pretty noisy neighbours coming and going at odd hours, which made for a few interrupted nights. But overall, it was a great base for exploring Monopoli and beyond.

The apartment is located in a quiet part of town, close to the center, the sea, the railroad station (all within a distance of about 1 km - walking about 15 minutes). For those who have a car - the best location, because the apartment is in a quiet location and has - and this is very important - private parking spaces. The equipment of the apartment is excellent - there is everything you need. In addition, there is a kitchen, fully equipped. For breakfast you have to walk about 15 minutes :) They serve toast or excellent fried eggs with lettuce and bacon on delicious bread. Plus the best coffee, croisant and freshly squeezed orange juice in Monopoli. I felt safe and taken care of by the owner.

Vito (owner) was really friendly and caring. The room is wonderful, spacious, comfortable and has a big balcony. The external area of the house is also gorgeous, there are some tables and chairs to relax. There was also some beach umbrella available for the guests (which I didn't use but I liked to see they offer that). The breakfast was DELICIOUS, however, it's not in the same location. You have to walk 10-15 minutes to reach the breakfast restaurant. On Sunday they are closed so they offered us the breakfast in another location which was also good. The parking is right in front of the house (although a bit small).

The included breakfast is in a different location (10-15 minutes on foot), which is not very practical (although the breakfast was DELICIOUS, probably the best I had in Italy).

Our stay at B&B Villa Maria Pia was delightful and worth recommending. It is the perfect place for a comfortable stay and an excellent base for exploring the area. The room we stayed in was cozy, clean, and beautifully finished, making our stay extremely comfortable. The interiors are designed with great attention to detail, creating a warm and homely atmosphere. The surroundings of the property also deserve special mention – the charming patio, comfortable seating under umbrellas, and well-maintained greenery make it a perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The free parking in designated spots is a huge advantage, especially for those traveling by car. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcome. The service was top-notch, which further enhanced our overall experience. The breakfasts at the restaurant were delicious and well-balanced, making them a perfect way to start a day full of adventures. The restaurant is located in the heart of Monopoli, and the morning walk to breakfast was refreshing and enjoyable. It is also worth visiting the restaurant for lunch or dinner, as the food is of high quality and expertly prepared. In conclusion, B&B Villa Maria Pia is a fantastic place for both short and long stays. Comfortable conditions, a welcoming atmosphere, and a great location make it a destination we would love to return to. Highly recommended!

Really clean B&B situated on outskirts of the town but only a short walk.from the old town and beach. Convenient parking just outside.. Very clean and comfortable and well equipped rooms and ensuite. A 15 minute walk to cafe where breakfast is served. The Cafe serves really tasty food and lovely atmosphere, we had a good substantial breakfast every morning. Photos don't do it justice. Extremely happy with our stay, would highly recommend.

The room was very modern and spacious, and they come to clean it every day. You can also use kitchen to make coffee or tea. Terasse is huge with multiple tables and beautiful garden (there are little turtles). It is really peaceful, and there is parking provided in front of the building. Breakfast was very good in the owner’s caffe, 15 minutes by foot or 3 mintes by car (we easily found parking on the street). Also the owner is very kind and offered to pack our breakfast because we were leaving early in the morning. We loved our stay and we will definitely return here if we ever come back to Monopoli.

Nice villa in a residential area, the room had a nice terrace. You can sit outside in the garden as well and you can park in front of the house which is good. Close to a busy road but still quiet, athough you could hear the other quests in the adjacant room. A little bit far from the old center of the town. Breakfast was great but you had to walk about 15 minutes to have breakfast.

Stayed as a group for a wedding weekend, and all 3 rooms were really spacious, clean and with great bathrooms. Our room had a roof terrace and there is a big terrace at the front, so lots of outdoor space. Breakfast at the nearby cafe is EXCELLENT, and flexible arrival times Lovely staff, really helpful - but it almost feels like your own house when you’re there, very relaxed … and all this at an excellent price

The immediate surrounding location isn’t very beautiful - but it also means the B&B feels like a little oasis

This place exceeded our expectations! Very easy check in. Room is even better than photos. So clean and large, and our terrace was great too. Bathroom is fantastic and spacious. Parking near the facility or nearby makes it very easy. Short walk to the main area. Wish we knew how amazing this place was earlier and we would have made it our base in Puglia and stayed longer.

The hot water takes a really long time to heat up, unfortunately had cold showers during the stay. It was fine when everyday was over 30 degrees, but wouldn't be ideal for a longer stay.
