The location was excellent and design decor concept was incredible with a true Mediterranean feel. Staff were very accommodating and responsive.

Unfortunately Procida is a small island with very limited vendor transport options. The airport shuttle agency that the hotel booked for us was unacceptable and unprofessional. The driver was very nice but the agency instructed the driver to take us from Naples airport to a port 1 hour away instead of the closest port 15 minutes away so that they can increase the up charge cost on our travel. Luckily we became aware of this and asked the driver to take us to the closest port and he did. I would highly recommend as a tourist that care be taken when arranging transportation as this a very common theme in the region of Naples.

The Hotel San Michele, was a fabulous venue. Right on the water at Marina Corricella, it provided the most spectacular views looking back to the main land and across to Sorento and the Isle of Capri. The location was a short 5 minute walk to the main port of Procida, and a leisurely, if somewhat uphill, walk to the Palazzo D'Avalo, which offered the most amazing views across the entire island. The hotel was laid out with reception at street level and the rooms cascading down the building with the ground floor at waterfront level. The restaurant was on the ground floor and had tables on the promenade.

Nothing. The place was fantastic, the location sublime, the staff exceptional and the amenities wonderful.

The hotel is quirky in a positive way. The decor/furnishing is superb, all wood and natural fibre basket work and weaving. The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was a bit chaotic but the staff were so friendly in didn't matter. This is not the hotel for you if you can't manage stairs. The entrance level is actually the 7th floor and ground level (where the restaurant is) is actually sea level. The lift only runs between the 7th and 3rd floors and so there is always stairs to climb.

The hotel stands out from many others in the area for its beach decor and holiday vibe looking out over the water to the boats from the wonderful balconies. The pastel port area is spectacular and this is a very central location to explore the area. The breakfast by the water was excellent with the restaurant also opening for lunch/diner or there were many others to choose from along the wharf. Including one with whole fish and the best rabbit stew we have had in Italy! We also walked throughout the old town and took a very reasonable taxi back over the hill.

Nothing as they thought of everything, including arranging a taxi from the port to the accommodation.

The best spot on tbe whole island. The location was simply stunning. The hotel was gorgeous and spotless. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I had great communication on lead up to our stay. Staff organised a taxi to collect us at the port. This was very convenient and another example of great service. We had a wonderful breakfast out on the harbour the morning we left ❤️

We did not enjoy our dinner so much. Two out of four of us got the wrong main course. We ordered something different. I accepted the wrong dish ( wish I hadnt) and my friend said she would wait, then bizarily brought her a second incorrect main course. She refused this and had to wait again. It eas dissappointing. They offered free desert in a bid to improve the situation but damage eas done by then. Location was beautiful but a little chilly out of the sunshine.

The hotel is really beautiful, tastefully decorated rooms, gorgeous views over the small marina. All the public spaces are also gorgeous. Beds super comfortable

The system used for breakfast is not up to the caliber of the hotel, more suitable for a hostel. We had to tick off our orders at arrival, which we did. The ordered items were then not available the next day. The table next to us had the same problem. For the price paid I would expect breakfast to be far better organised and copious. The afternoon receptionist was surly and rude. The morning receptionist was lovely though.

Beautiful location on the harbour, beach towels provided for you on request, efficient check in and out.

Junior suite has a small balcony only - for the price I thought this was pretty poor when other suites had beds and hammocks. Breakfast staff are very nice and a bit hit and miss with breakfast items as previous reviewers have said - however be aware that this is not a buffet and the selection is very limited and repetitive for a 4 night stay. The charming location does make up for this in some respects though

The location is wonderful overlooking the little fishing port and bay . The rooms are tastefully furnished and very comfortable and large . Fiorella in reception was great and helped us to upgrade our room to one with a terrace and recommended restaurants, booked taxis etc.

The rooms without the terrace have balconies but they are so high that when you sit down , you can’t see any veiw . The restaurant below is great for the included breakfast but I felt was not great and VERY expensive for dinner .

Beautiful views, good breakfast included, friendly and attentive staff, well-decorated rooms, and much more! We enjoyed our stay in Procida and could not be more grateful for the staff at San Michele. They gave us plenty of restaurant recommendations and helped us arrange travel to and from the island/airport. Procida is a quiet island, and we really enjoyed meeting the locals and strolling the streets. The beaches are nice, too! Would definitely return for another stay!

The location is unbeatable and the boho chic design of the hotel is gorgeous. The staff were very helpful and even lent me an Iphone cable when mine failed to work. The restaurant for dinner is fabulous and a special mention must go to Celeste the chef.

We could not adjust the air conditioning in our room and when we mentioned it the next morning we were told it was centrally controlled. Why give us a remote control for the air con if we can't bring the temperature down?
