I chose this hotel at the last minute, realizing that its ratings are lower than those of other hotels in this village. Nevertheless, the excellent location and available sunbeds on the beach are a huge plus. The room is spacious, with a fresh-looking renovation, a good bed, and quality bed linens. Breakfast is basic, but there are 2 coffee machines, so, almost never queue

The downsides: there's no furniture on the balcony, and the air conditioner and refrigerator don't cool very well. But all of this was reflected in the price. If you like tea for breakfast, you'd better bring your own teabags. Often there were absent, and staff didn't bring them on request.

This was my 3rd stay at the Excelsior, I really like it- spotlessly clean, spacious rooms, friendly and helpful staff, it’s all there. The exterior looks a bit tired, but I think they got their priorities right- comfort and good service are paramount. I am sure I will be back😎

I loved everything including the way the staff treated us and the way they guided us around the city. We came from Manchester and they treated us well. We arrived at the hotel late at roughly 1:00am and they allowed us to check in late. They gave a comfortable and cosy room with a outstanding view of the beach. They provided us with water and all the basic amenities. The breakfast was spot on point from the hot chocolate to the yogurt and even the juice. This hotel was amazing and I will surely book it again for sure.

I loved everything I have nothing bad to say about the hotel and the staff. Only 1 little minor thing is that the AC had no remote as it is manually controlled by the staff.

Amazing location, good value for money, kind personnel.

Breakfast is moderate. Not a lot of choice. Warm things aren’t always warm. Cold things aren’t always cold. Coffee machine takes 5 min to make one espresso.

What's not to like- very good price, fantastic location, smiling-helpful staff, spotlessly clean, bright and airy large room, breath-taking view from balcony, everything I look for in a hotel- it's there !!!!

Fruit at breakfast. Flooded road when we wanted to walk out. Luckily we could wade through the water with our Teva sandals.

Large rooms, daily cleaning. Friendly staff. Free parking. Beautiful view from the balcony. Rich and tasty breakfast. Because we left at 6 in the morning, they prepared an early breakfast for us!

The rooms are not soundproofed. Everything can be heard from the neighbors.

The hotel is located in Montesilvano, a town a few kilometers away from Pescara, on the Adriatic coast of Italy. It is 50 meters from the beach. The beach is wide, with fine sand and all the necessary facilities, as we are used to the beaches of the Black Sea. The room was reasonable in terms of amenities, and the breakfast exceeded our expectations - rich and varied. Very nice and helpful reception staff. A private parking is available next to the hotel. A very good location, both for transit and for a stay at sea. We were in the off-season, which is true, when there seemed to be very few tourists in the resort (apart from many Ukrainian refugees). We suspect that in two months all the hotels in the area will be full of tourists. We would gladly return there to spend a few days on the Adriatic Sea.
