The facilities were great - access to kitchen, lots of areas to relax both inside and outside, and even additional showers, toilets and hairdryers in case the one in your room was in use. The welcome was so friendly. Glass of water on arrival was very much appreciated, as was being shown around by a very friendly staff member. Loved the fact there were cats and a bunny!

I would love for there to have been more yoga classes on as there wasn’t one available during my stay, which would have been great. The bathroom in the room needed a bit aid a refurb. Mould was starting to develop in the corners which also made it smell of damp. I haven’t marked full for location, simply because I was not expecting to have to haul my heavy suitcase uphill for a good 10-15 minutes, plus two flights of stairs and I would have appreciated knowing that in advance. But the hostel was close to the Spanish quarter and lots of other attractions in Napoli. Other than that, loved the place!

One of my favorite hostels so far! Clean, comfortable rooms, individual bed curtains (lower bunks only), lockers, lights and shelves, as well as hooks and mirrors in the room. Stunning social areas, and they’ve got 3 cute cats and a bunny roaming around :). Staff were super helpful and attentive. Less than a 10 min walk to nearest grocery store. Quietest hostel due to it being tucked away above the street. The doors use keycode which is great as no need to hassle with key deposits or losing them.

To no fault of the property, the journey to the hostel is uphill and tiring (no elevator for the floor). Just be prepared for a trek if you venture down to the squares each day.

Great staff. A rabbit , cats fab garden. Very well looked after green space to relax in Hammocks and big cushions. Dorm 4 bed female has beds comfortable not amazing only slats between you and the mattress of the person up. bathroom cleaned every day at 10 am ISH. And nice AC. Lovely garden Good coffee Good Info board Hard to find initially and the area to a new arrival looks a bit sketchy, but actually it wasn't at all a sketchy and near everything. Great area to stay Friendly.

The lift didn't work to reception. Only from ground to third? The steps are big stone steps, need pay 10c for the lift to work which is not too much but you need arm yourself with coins if you need go up n down a lot. I booked specifically for yoga daily and there was not ANY . Very disappointing. It would have been I think 10 euro additional for a yoga class. Staff couldn't help with my bag when I left at 7.30 am. As only one guy on reception. Several nights i slept in a sofa in a common room, cos of snoring if other girls in The dorm, but that's nada to do with the hostel.

The staff, particularly the new lady, were very amicable ensuring a positive experience. The bed was comfortable and room was a good size with lockers. The bed had a privacy curtain and personal socket with light. The toilet was next to the room and mostly good, just could not use the shower the first day so had to use the communal ones around and down the corridor. Security to the room is push button code, and someone is on reception which is also a bar. The garden inside the complex was an eye opener and quite big and quirky. Rabbit and cats are friendly. A range of ages present and quite a calming vibe. The kitchen is decent but did lack a kettle. Generally the surfaces are clean and someone is constantly working to keep on top of things. You can always ask at reception and someone helps. Added bonus, I could hand wash my clothes and peg them on the line that hangs or sits on the balcony.

I expected a kitchen to have an electric kettle of sorts. Instead, I used a pot to boil water every time I wanted a cuppa. Hopefully they have sorted it now. The handles of the kitchen drawers need a scrub as they were getting sticky when I was there. Might be cleaned now as I told someone. The garden is lovely, but for the price I paid, I think I would have preferred breakfast to be included as I did not spend alot of time there as I was out and about exploring. The metro is a 5-10min walk away (from metro to hostel it is uphill with stairs or you can use the elevators for part of the way in a building not far from the metro station).

Please follow their recommendations for FOOD because they are all local peoples. Lovely Big Garden with Rabbit and Cats. Piano , guitar , chess etc with big kitchen for cooking very comfy lounge. 24 our service and there is a small bar inside hostel at reception. Location not that much far from city center as there is a shortcut of escalators and elevator right at the corner. Thank you once Again Guys ( cheers ) see you next time

This is a fantastic hostel, and I’d be happy to stay again—this time for longer! The entire space is amazing: the outdoor area, kitchen, and communal spaces are all spacious, clean, and tastefully designed. The garden is perfect for relaxing and unwinding. We stayed in the female-only room, which was very clean and came with access to another smaller kitchen—so there was no need to go downstairs—as well as a private rooftop terrace. Honestly, I can’t fault anything. The staff were lovely and incredibly helpful throughout our stay.

There are ants and mosquitoes in the garden. Not a hostel fault, it is a outdoor space but insects repellent would be good idea.

Hopestel is such a surprising location and we really liked our stay. Located in a resident area, you'll find yourself in a secret garden, your rooms will be in the building were also residents live. Nevertheless, it is quiet, the rooms are beautiful and modern. We had the family room and were more than satisfied with everything. Communication was excellent and we appreciated the 24/7 reception as our flight was delayed and arrived very late.

Nothing special to mention, maybe only that the elevator is not reaching the reception so for check in you will have to climb steep stairs, nothing for elderly or handicapped guests. Also, the person who was at the reception in the morning seemed to be not a morning person which felt a bit unwelcoming but we took it with humor.

The location is probably the best part. It’s truly a hidden gem and the yard is way bigger than expected. Also, the staff, including the volunteers are extremely friendly, caring, helpful and understanding. Further, the garden is taken good care of, the cats and the rabbit are just adorable and the drinks that the hostel offers are well priced and delicious.

It’s a totally minor thing, but when you wash your hands there’s non electric hand dryer or towels or paper towels. I guess this could easily be adjusted.

Very nice hostel vibes with nice and spacious common areas. Great international staff. The Freddo cappuccino from the hostel bar is just amazing 👏

Air-conditioning only works from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m., so if you stay at the hostel during day time you are sweating 😓 I understand though that is for economy and environmental reasons. Also, at the garden the mosquitos are eating you alive. The solution on that could be to minimize the stable waters and plant the proper aromatic plants that can prevent mosquitoes 😊

I loved the garden, the bed outside, the pets really made the relaxing hours after all day walking very recharging. It's also very convenient having the outdoor toilets/bathrooms in case some of the roommates occupies it for too long. Also being able to have coffee at the hostel makes it so easy to have a slow morning before heading to the sights. The staff was also really sweet and helpful. 💕

Those are just things that need improvement: noisy locker doors, sticky kitchen cabinets handles, fuller pillows (weren't bad just having clumps in them).
