I know this area very well – I’ve explored it thoroughly over the years – and I can confidently say that Masseria del Carrubo is the best choice you can make. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully designed, but what truly stood out for me was the private garden: a peaceful spot with an unmatched sunset view. I especially appreciated the privacy it offered – perfect for relaxing in total tranquility. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. A special thanks to Sam at the bar, who made one of the best Aperol Spritzes I’ve ever had – absolutely delicious! Without a doubt, a place I’ll return to.

Great place! Nicely restored and comfortably set on the top of the hill. Great view! Optional breakfast was very good, with various options both sweet and savoury. Each room has a small garden with chairs and table. Snacking option at the pool bar - good salad, toasts. You can cook / prepare some meals in your own kitchenette. Supermarkets are placed in the Rossellini - 7 min drive. Short distance to neighbouring vineyards, beach & Marzamemi. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Give people warning about watering of the garden area at early morning. First night all our clothes & towels we left outside were wet.

Room was spacious and the surroundings were incredibly charming. The pool area (although we didn’t use it) looked fantastic too. Each room has a cute little garden. Parking is available which is extremely useful as we had a car (it is necessary if you decide to stay here and to travel around in Sicily in general). Location is perfect to visit the nearby towns and the beach. Personnel was lovely and offered lots of recommendations. Would recommend and come back!

It’s such a shame that the breakfast is so pricey. You can get a great Italian style breakfast elsewhere for about 1/3 of the price so we decided to do that although the breakfast location was lovely and we would have loved to try it! Another small note is that we have been given an accessible room, which is less nice compared to the other rooms due to its features. It wasn’t a problem as it was very spacious and still nice but we were told we had been given an “upgrade” which we think wasn’t really the case.

The venue is very beautiful, building and interior are very tasteful and the team here is really exceptional: super nice people, helpful, responsive, and kind, creating a very special and genuinely welcoming atmosphere. (And I got a free language course over the excellent breakfast.) Thank you Team Masseria del Carrubo, well done!

It’s a gorgeous property. In the country side, surrounded by olive tree orchards and wine yards and the wild Sicilian countryside. Twenty minutes drive from a great beach - spacious beautifully designed clean room, a great large pool area and bar and everything is tasteful.

They do need to extend food offering to include a simple lunch or open the pool bar earlier. It opens at 3/330 pm and you get food around 4 pm - since we arrived after breakfast and before lunch with no food option at the site or delivery (start 5 pm) that was a bit of a struggle …

Beautiful masseria , élégant design , very clean, full of perfumes and gorgeous flowers and plants (mid-april) Staff very kind and accommodating . Extremely comfortable beds and pillows . Pool and jacuzzi very clean and well entertained.

The bfast was a bit too expensive if you stay for a week.

The room and surroundings were very scenic and beautiful. There is a big pool, childrens play area and jacuzzi. The location was tranquil and we could easily see the beautiful sunset from the hill. The location is quiet but nearby cities (Noto, Modica, Ragusa and even Syracuse ) are easy to reach by car. Danilo and his team were very friendly, professional and happy to help us with our questions. Would definitely recommended this place!

This place is a gem. Beautiful landscaped grounds, quiet and peaceful, elegant buildings and well-equipped, spacious rooms. The beds were very good. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, especially Daniele and the young lady at the reception. We were very sorry to leave and hope to come again. Also, I think the price is more than reasonable for the quality you get. If you are looking for somewhere to stay while visiting Val di Noto, this is it.

Nothing- it was perfect

The design and overall atmosphere of the Masseria and the rooms is just fabulous. Orange trees in front of the entrance, small private garden area, children playground, clean pool area with a view (the water is still very chilly in April, but still. And there is a small jacuzzi). Plus, for a family with a child it is superb to have a kitchen within the well designed rooms. We will certainly be back!

The bedroom was not separate from rest of space one big open studio, we thought we could put our daughter in the cot in lounge and have our own room. Also my lunch sandwich was very poor quality when you know the local resources available.
