Good value, convenient to beach, supermarket, restaurant & country roads for cycling.

A bit of heavy traffic noise, but stopped at night.

Paulo the owner was exceedingly gracious — gave us a ride to the Boca del serchio when we about to walk. Dont go here without a car! :).

the hotel is close to the station of Albinia which was exactly what we were looking for. there was also a great pizzeria right next door and a grocery store nearby. Dory was very kind and flexible with our check out. thank you very much

It was an emergency booking. Booked last minute. It accomplished the mission.

The room was a bit cold and the heating not enough. Loads of huge blankets though.

It was convenient for our trip, and had a restaurant close by. It was a family run business.

The property needs renovation and modernisation. Everything felt old/out of date. We paid extra for a king room but it was not a king bed. Found the same stay on Expedia for cheaper and inclusive of taxes.

The room was big and clean, there was good AC and a fridge.

Hotel Dory caught our attention by its proximity to the beach and the town. What was not mentioned, it is located by a busy motorway, next to an industrial area which means it’s really loud, you can smell post production of fruits and to get to the train station/town you need to walk on a busy road full of lorries. Maybe the beach is only 2 km away, but again, you would need to walk on motorway, so to avoid it the actual walk takes just about under an hour. The rooms are just ok, but there are no glasses, not a plate or a napkin. Wifi doesn’t work, we had access on first day and then none, the owner was contacted but couldn’t fix the problem. The breakfast is a very typical Italian coffee + cookie/pastry, I wouldn’t call it a buffet (also to avoid misunderstandings). This is NOT what you’d expect for 80 eur per night (out of season and on the weekdays!) If the price was at least half of it my review would be more positive, but I honestly feel scammed. The ‘hotel’ itself is not bad but the price point is ridiculous for what it is, and it is just a motel by a road. I’m really surprised at positive reviews.
