Our "away from it all" holiday ended with 2 nights in Borgo Trulli which lived up to all expectations. Antonella was a fantastic hostess and memories of her Trulli and amazing old Masseria surrounded by beautiful fields/trees/wild flowers will sustain us during the hot summer days back home in Malta. We wish we had not wasted time visiting overcrowded Alberobello as we saw many more Trulli in their natural surroundings at Borgo Trulli and the area around. The nearby town of Cisternino is definitely worth a visit too.

There was nothing we didn't like

Antonella was very helpful with recommendations for towns to visit and restaurants. Just a couple of trulli rooms on a farm… a 15 min drive (on windy small roads) from a number of villages, and very close to the Valle d’Itria aqueduct for great cycling/walking.

The masseria was closed as it was September, which was disappointing, as we were expecting to have one dinner here during our stay to save driving. We would have like some coffee/tea making facilities. No wifi in or near rooms, and even data connection patchy, which made planning our days difficult.

We loved the location and the vibes of the property. The owner was super friendly and even upgraded us to a trullo. It is a 10 min walk to Ashram Bhole Baba which was perfect for us. Unfortunatelly we only stayed there one night, but we would love to stay longer.

It was cold inside the trullo, could be cleaner. Other than that, no complaints, it was perfect!

The location was remote but still easy to reach, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The trulli itself was more than spacious enough, and the environment was so beautiful, like the perfect Italian postcard. Antonella is a lovely woman and was the perfect host. She gave us some more tips on what to visit in the area. A must visit for the perfect Italian getaway.

The only thing we regretted is not staying for more than one night.

What an absolutely wonderful place - we were upgraded to the apartment suite and Antonella is the picture of hospitality. She is so incredibly nice - if you didnt buy breakfast, it is 10 euros and is absolutely wonderful with coffee, fruit and traditional italian cakes. I wish we could stay longer - thank you, Antonella and the 3 lovely doggos!

Lovely quiet rural location right in the heart of trulli country. Antonella was a wonderful host along with her sweet dogs. Thank you for breakfast and the tour of your beautiful home. Sleeping in a trullo is something I have dreamed of since childhood and it lived up to expectations.

Antonella was an amazing host. The Trulli was very simple, lovely and warm and the breakfasts excellent.

We felt so safe. The whole atmosphere was amazing. It is so worth it to have breakfast as well and also have a look inside the big house. It is suitable for weddings and just a quick getaway. We are so much coming back

Everything was perfect

The service provided was Antonella was excellent it was lovely meeting her too. We had booked a standard room and as there was availability we were upgraded. Borgo Trulli is situated in a beautiful location in the countryside. The road to Borgo Trulli is stunning and the nights are wonderful too as there is very little light pollution so you can have a perfect clear sky for stargazing. I travelled with a friend and my dog, excellent stay too if you are travelling with your four-legged friend. The decoration is authentic and traditional which is what were looking for. It would have been the perfect place to live in. Grazie Mille, we will be back!

Antonnela was a really charming and welcoming host. The trullo was beautifuly decorated and it was very comfortable to stay there. We also went for breakfast at Antonnela's masseria garden, very well accompanied by her friendly and cute dogs. A wonderful experience that we hope we can repeat.
