The staff and I mean everyone, from frount desk to room cleaning were super helpful at any time of day or night. My friends and I were first time at the town and hotel and had allot of questions which were always dealt with in an efficient and friendly way. The rooms were spotlessly clean and spacious with good air conditioning. Food and drink at the hotel was varied, well prepared and delicious. Peter in the breakfast room was a wonderful host to us and so helpful with our trips to nearby places. Outside the gardens offer a lovely shady oasis of calm with a nice swimming pool and seating areas under the shade. Inside the lounge was large and well furnished. Our favourite place to sit was the beautiful terrace. The accessability to the town centre was brilliant and reached in an easy and pleasant ten minutes stroll. There's a lovely bar opposite the hotel gates which is fab and friendly. The hotel doesn't really have a bar as such, although they very happily bring drinks to you anytime when asked. The bar outside, although not run by the hotel, is great if you want more of a convivial bar atmosphere so stop by if it's late, before going back to your comfy room. I cannot commend the staff and their treatment of us enough. You'd be hard pressed to find anywhere friendlier. Absolutely loved our stay.

The hotel is rather dated and peeling in places and doesn't look attractive when you arrive by car. It has a sort of charming faded glamour. However, a member of staff explained that the hotel will be closed from November for refurbishment. I can't wait to see what it's like after, even though I'm sure it'll be more expensive..

It was a great location, close to the old town. Loved the size of our room and having a pool to come back to each day after sight seeing was a blessing. Good breakfast on the beautiful verandah and the staff were very very obliging. The hotel also had a lovely dinner each night.

We felt that there should have been perhaps a kettle to make tea or.coffee in our room, as after breakfast there was no where to have a drink until dinner. There was no safe in our room, which is unusual The property grounds could perhaps be a little better maintained. The address which is listed took us to the back gate, and after several trips around the block, we finally saw the illuminated sign, perhaps a proper sign on the back gate wall next to the drive way would eliminate looking for the entrance.

Lovely oldy world hotel, beautiful gardens, and lovely views from the top two floors we had a classic double on the 4th floor 403 huge balcony. Location is good only 6 or so mins from old town, plenty of restaurants in the area but most are located in side streets so take a bit of searching out. Would we use this hotel again, yes. But there are a few negatives.

The food was of a poor quality, breakfast was same every day We had one dinner in the evening and it was poor, would not use it again. Also there is no bar, which Is unusual in a hotel of this size, but there's a lovely little local bar at the back by the large car park

The room was quite spacious and very clean. Views over the city were amazing. The restaurant provided lovely dinner options and the breakfasts were plentiful. The hotel grounds were stunning with hidden spots to explore and amazing Wisteria trees that festooned the pergolas. This hotel will have been magnificent in its hay-day. The historic town centre was beautiful. Go for a walk in the early evening to capture it at its best.

The shower we had (Room 411) was tiny. You had to walk in sideways to get access and once in, it was almost impossible to shower without knocking the shower controls. It was a shame because adjacent to the shower was a 30cm empty space that could have been utilised in making a larger more manageable shower.

the standard room was a reasonable size, however the the on suite facilities were very cramped. The shower especially, was extremely small, however it was barely usable for a size L individual. it would not be usable by anybody XL or above.

Buffet breakfast with lots of variety. The room was pleasant, with private bathroom. Hotel is in a quiet location about 10 minutes walk from Martina Franca old town, also about 10 minutes walk from the railway station. The old town is quite large and well worth exploring. The hotel gardens were lovely, I could sit outside in the shade, read a book and relax.

Beautiful grounds, swimming pool & free parking very close to but in a quiet part of town. Old style glamour, a little dated in parts but a lovely laid back vibe. Very comfortable beds, very clean. Lovely terrace for breakfast.

Complimentary water could have green given in rooms. Bathrooms a bit tight. Echo noise from other rooms & corridors.

Breakfast was continental buffet which was acceptable. My one complaint was you had to be served coffee & tea by staff & when it was busy it could be quite a wait. We would like to have had tea/coffee making facilities in our room. We ate in restaurant several times in the evening both food & wine were delicious & very reasonably priced Our bedroom & bathroom were both very big & comfortable. The hotel is a small oasis in the middle of the city, the pool & gardens were beautiful, I would recommend this hotel to anyone especially if your driving as it’s very unusual to have good parking facilities in middle of city. The staff were wonderful.🤵🏻😊

It would have been nice to have a bar, we had to ask staff at the front desk for drinks.

This was a great location for a visit to Martina Franca. It is about 10 minutes walk away from the old city, and the actual hotel surroundings were absolutely beautiful. Lush greenery, fountains, swimming pool, one could easily spend a few hours experiencing just the hotel by itself. The room itself was exactly as described. Spacious, with a comfortable bed, with the water pressure and temperature for the shower high.. Breakfast was really good, with the pastries being amazing, and coffee of your choice handmade by a barista in a dedicated coffee station. All in all, a perfect visit!

Everything except external WiFi signal and OK breakfast. Everything else was absolutely perfect!

wifi signal in outside areas. If they installed WiFi boosters in the garden, pool and outside dining area, I would 100% come back Breakfast was OK, but nothing special. Poor juices, small selection of eggs and just an average breakfasts
