The location is stupendous with the most mesmerising views of a vast sea and sky and little Marina di Pisciotta. It is absolutely serene. The Hotel has been decorated with great taste and style. Having breakfast on the terrace is just magical, I didn't want to move. The owners are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and made sure I managed to meet up with the Menacia anchovy producers I'd come to see by coordinating in Italian and arranging local taxis. They are several excellent restaurants close by: one in the village above the hotel: I Tre Gufi and one at Marina di Pisciotta Ristorante Angiolina. Do be aware there are a lot of steps to reach the hotel but someone will be sent to the start of the car-free (unless you're a resident) village to help you.

Very difficult to find fault. A kettle in the room would be good.

Lea and Massimo are natural hosts. They seem to take a sincere interest in making their guests feel welcome and comfortable. Pisciotta is a place where you should aim to do nothing except enjoy the beauty of this tiny treasure of a place. If you approach it with an agenda, you are bound to be disappointed. Walk down to the beach (and back up to town, if you are fit enough), hang out on the Marulivo terrace overlooking the sea with a glass of wine, and read a book. Paradise.

The hotel is beautifully arranged and furnished in an amazing position overlooking the sea. The view from the terrace where breakfast and drinks are served is stunning. The rooms are comfortable and full of character.

Unfortunately adverse weather meant we were not able to have breakfast on the terrace one morning. The alternative was a rather cramped room, which did not really match the rest of our fantastic experience of this hotel.

Marulivo is a special place and one of a kind. If you were looking for a place that is off the beaten track and unique, then this is perfect. Very clean and comfortable. Amazing, delicious breakfast with incredible views. The owners are so welcoming and offer. Many suggestions of daily excursions and assistance. Exposure.

All good. I hope to return to the Marulivo someday soon and often.

The hotel was charming and had so much character. The breakfast patio was beautiful as was the breakfast.

Our air conditioning unit wasn’t cooling our room to our liking, but that also had to do with the excessive heat and the building age. It also started making an annoying noise after working for two days. The parking lot was also a bit too tight for our liking.

The hotel is gorgeous and atmospheric, build on different levels that easy are compact and integrated in the natural surroundings. The individual styling of the rooms add to this vibe. I loved staying in the room called Petra. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, ensuring that even in low season you don’t arrive at closed doors in the restaurants in the area. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was amazing. A good range of wonderful offerings perfect to eat and enjoy. The staff made beautiful yogurt and fruit parfaits, the cake offering changed every day and I am now a convert to eating cake each morning with a coffee. The fruits were fresh and local. Meats eggs and cheese with a range of local breads made for a perfect selection. But best of all the view is as good as the site suggests, the best terrace in Piscotta and one you never get tired of in the morning or in the afternoon for drinks. The hotel is well situated just off the main square so easy to walk to a variety of restaurants. The food avail is great so although the hotel doesn't do lunch or Dinner there is no need to worry as the choice just down the lane is plentiful and very reasonably priced. We had a fab pizza and each pizza cost $4 E. A bargain. Lunch at Par Bacco up the hill a short drive away was fabulous. Leah made sure we were comfortable and had lots of ideas for what we could do and was always happy to arrange things for us. The room we booked was the junior suite as wanted extra room so I could work easily. Great view from my work station. Pleasant room to stay in very comfortable. Great not too crowded beaches are a 20 minute drive away. A car is necessary or you can take a taxi. The local beach is ok but not sunbed type more a dip in a harbour. However the other beaches just a bit further down are worth the drive.

Not much to not like. It is magical. The only watch out is the internet in this area is patchy and had to hot spot to get large files down loaded. But as most people aren't working it shouldn't be an issue for most.

This is a very special place. The building, which is an old monastery, has been carefully renovated to maintain the historic integrity and yet transformed into a lovely hotel with excellent facilities and thoughtful touches, which we appreciated. Our hosts were extremely kind.

Great little boutique hotel with a fabulous view across the ocean and terrace, helpful staff, lovely room and off the beaten track of the Amalfi. Pisciotta and the surrounding area were surprisingly beautiful. We would highly recommend this hotel for a few nights to chill out entirely in a beautiful location.

Bed could have a little more comfortable

I have been to many places in Italy. But this hotel will remain in my memory forever. So beautiful place, stylish and relaxing. High class vacation !!! Special thanks to Lea , she helped with advice and took care of me . The hotel is very clean, breakfastes are tasty, I ate a lot:) I highly recommend this place
