We would like to acknowledge the help Claudia provided in organising storage for our bicycles and luggage taxi transfer. Of all the hotels and B&Bs we stayed in during out Puglia cycling trip this was our favourite. We booked a double room with sea view and were given a room on the top floor with a great sea view right out onto the boardwalk. The room was light, airy and spacious with a large bathroom and great shower. The bed was very comfortable. The rooms appear to have been recently modernised and we liked the decor. The balcony was a perfect place to sit to get the afternoon sun. The hotel has parking across the road at the rear and we could securely store our bikes. We would highly recommend the hotel, just not the food and beverage offerings.

The restaurant was the only part of the stay which was a let-down. We ate dinner there which was really quite poor quality. The seafood tasted frozen which is strange for a port fishing town restaurant. The food was also very basic and a lot of the dishes were deep fried. The bread we were served was stale. The ambiance was a bit of a let-down as the restaurant lighting was far too bright. The breakfast was also very poor, especially given the standard of the hotel. The juices were from a carton and the offerings were primarily a small selection of cereals, cakes and pastries.

Freindly staff and location was good. Very good breakfast.

The palm trees take away the view on the second floor. Better to be on first or third.

I loved the location overlooking the harbour. My room was large & spotlessly clean. I could walk out straight across the road along the waterside & into town. Lots of bars & restaurants nearby. Lovely seating in front of the hotel to just chill with a drink Staff were all friendly & helpful.

I had to send a message to Booking.com for the reception to become nice (the lady who is there 8am-3pm)... the night girls are super polite and helpful. In addition the hotel has a major sound problem. You hear all around your room, the people at the gym, anyone in your floor who opens/closes the door, and the conversations of people in the room next and below you... oh, and the street noise too! And the wifi was very bad too!!!!!!

The window of the bedroom did not close fully. Therefore we had to suffer all night long terrible noise from the street in front of the hotel and from the bar/disco right next door. Further, the air condition did not work correctly. We tried to set 22 degrees to sleep but the temperature indicated on the a/c display - showing the real room temperature - showed all night long 28 to 20 degrees. Due to the window that did not close (some of the mechanism was broken) entered a lot of heat and noise. We had a very terrible night. We mentioned this issue to the owner the next day but she did not even care about checking the issue together with us. On the contrary, she responded in a very disinterested way related to our problem. After check out, we contacted the hotel again by email to receive a partial refund. We never received any response until we made a refund request through Paypal. It then took 2 weeks for them to respond, of course claiming that none of the mentioned issues were true and our partial refund was declined. Since the owner had the possibility to check on the problem ( the window which didn't close properly and the a/c not working) upon check out but did not even care about it and her complete disinterest in following up our written complaint showed me that the management does not care about taking good care of their guests. Since taking guests' problems serious is an important criterion in the hospitality industry this hotel does not meet this minimum requirement.
