Lots of space in the room, like an apartment. The staff were very friendly and gave some ideas what to see in the town.

People will note it's not in the centre of town. But it's not a huge problem. It's a nice walk to the centre, not too far, maybe half an hour strolling.

Quiet place and to get energy and relax, close to center with all necessary services.

Furniture looked quite older , but quality was not affected with this fact - just consider to use modern one. The noise from the next apartment was quite loud. (Not caused by wrong behaviour of neighbours)

Very convenient for re-grouping after ferry from Barcelona (on bikes), with super comfortable bed, big room / kitchenette, garden area, bathroom with separate loo area. Reception was extremely warm and welcoming. I would consider staying for extended touring of local beaches etc

Spacious, clean, quiet, comfortable.

The staff member and owner were just incredibly welcoming and helpful. Before our arrival we were provided with detailed information in french on how to access the flat should we arrive after the reception has closed. When we left they offered us to drop us at the ferry stop as we were car-less. The flat was really clean and spacious. There were lots of kitchen pans etc for cooking. Thank you !

Spacious, nice terrace, kitchen with all the necessary appliances, parking space, helpful and friendly staff who know english well. Quiet neighbourhood in a nice small town which has a lot to offer considering its size.

The quality of some appliances like the pan or one pot was questionable :D But other than that everything was great!

We really enjoyed our stay at Il Melo. The staff was very friendly and forthcoming, we got self check-in instructions the day before which was very helpful. The room was big and tidy, had everything you‘d need, even some breakfast basics and sweets. Free and safe parking on the property.

Not much to do within walking distance. 5min drive you can get to restaurants and supermarket

This accommodation was the best on our journey through Sardinia. We received a very warm welcome when we arrived, letting us know of all the important places (restaurants, beaches, sites) around the residence and Porto Torres, but in a really consise way so we got all the necessary information, but did not have to listen for a really long time (which was really helpful because we had a really long journey behind us, with a 6-months old baby). The apartment itself was like in the pictures. (We rented the room that has red bedding in the pictures.) The terrace was enormous. The kitchen was well-equipped, which was great, because we cooked ourselves some meals during our stay. All our destinations (2 beaches in and around Porto Torres, Alghero, La Pelosa beach) were easily reachable from the apartment. Parking was perfect, in the garden of the apartments. The free child cot was comfortable for our 6-months old baby. The Aircon worked perfectly and it is located in the perfect place (it does not blow cool air on you when you sleep, which is really important, but it cools down the whole apartment perfectly). But even without aircon, the apartment was quite cool when we arrived.

The only downside was that the shower was a bit small for us, especially when we tried to give our baby a bath.

Amazing, friendly place with lovely people around. Clean, comfy rooms, parking for guests, mini bar and many others. Perfect place to stay for couple days!
