We had a wonderful stay at Villa Antica Colonica. The room was beautiful, very spacious with high ceilings, and perfectly clean. The bathroom was also excellent. The pool and outdoor facilities were diverse and very enjoyable, and the staff was kind and welcoming. Overall, we truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend Villa Antica Colonica.

One thing that could be improved is the cleaning service during the stay. Over the three days our room was not cleaned, and we had to take out the trash ourselves. For a room costing over €300 per night, I believe this service should be included.

Everything this villa has to offer is amazing! The room we stayed in is spacy and comfortable, the pool area is a great place to relax, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, and above all the food and drinks offered in the restaurant are of the highest quality. We almost felt like royalty whilst staying here, and even cancelled all our plans so that we could get the most of our stay here. The place is a haven of tranquility and really shows the passion put in to it by the owners and staff. This is by far the best place we stayed during our trip, and we will definitely be back another time!

Absolutely nothing, everything was perfect

Very friendly host, beautiful garden and very good breakfast with hot dishes every morning. Most of the time you feel like you own the villa for yourself though other guests are also there. A lot of details are added to make the place charming and relaxing. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and want to thank Sara for her great support during our visit. 😊

I think it‘s common practice in Sardinia not to include a kettle in room. Hence we pay extra 3Eur for our whole stay for a kettle. The amount is okay but I personally think it would be nice to have kettle included, esp with this room rate per night.

The place is awesome, the bar by the pool is fantastic, it is less than 10 minutes to the beach, which is large and not crowded, even in August. Breakfast is good, swimming pool is perfect, ping pong, darts, and other activities. Peaceful and great.

Dinner was OK, mainly frozen ingredients, which is understandable given the low number of meals and the variety of the menu. OK for one or two nights max if you are staying long time. Many nice restaurants in the area.

Solitude and proximity to beautiful beach.

Shower in bedroom was dreadful! Water lukewarm at best despite telling them on day 1. Additionally they lent us a kettle for the room and then charged us €3/day! Also, you are only allowed 2 coffees at breakfast, after which they charge you!!! Two examples of penny pinching when we paid £250/night!!! Madness and leaves a very sour taste in the mouth!

Antica Villa Colonica is a gem hidden among pine trees. The hotel is a perfect get-away if you want peace, quiet and total relaxation during your vacation. The hotel is small with just seven rooms, which was perfect, and the kind staff takes their time to answer any questions or requests you may have. Sara is an absolute star! We enjoyed the breakfast, the Honest Tree self-service bar, the pool and the well-kept garden. You do need a car to stay here, as it is quite far from everything, however there is free and private parking slots at the hotel. Please note that you need to order cleaning one day in advance via a QR code (in Italian) and that you also need to book dinners at the hotel one day in advance.

Dinner at the hotel is expensive and did not live up to our expectations. The lunches were also not great - both times it tasted very bland. The coconut icecream, however, was great and there is a nice selection of wine. The bar prices are also on the higher end for a self-service facility. The road leading up to the hotel, from both sides, is quite bad - not the fault of the hotel at all, but it is good to know before you arrive.

The place is fantastic, it has the charm of an old cottage combined with modernity of equipment and facilities, the staff is charming and helpful in all ways, the place is located at a walking distance from the sea (this part of Sardinia has a long sandy coast with dunes), the swimming pool is grand, the park around is beautiful and all is very calm around, a perfect place for relaxing, the bedding is of high quality, and we liked very much the furniture and decoration.

There is honestly nothing that we disliked.

The villa and its property is very beautiful and nicely decorated. Our room was clean and had everything we needed.

We did not like that you got a bit the feeling that they wanted to save money everywhere they could and at the same time make money everywhere they could. For example a beer in the honest bar was way to expensive, the cleaning lady needed to be ordered and was not coming automatically everyday to clean the room. The breakfast was very basic, we are aware that Italy is not the land of the breakfast but still I would expect that the food would be a) better quality and b) more diverse. In addition the breakfast time from 08-10 did not suit us personally at all, we like to sleep in on our vacations, which does not mean being at breakfast latest 09.40h. On same days then even things very empty and not being refilled automatically by the waiters.

Amazing place and staff! We had a wonderful stay at Villa Colonica. The place in general is beautiful and very well maintained, beautifully decorated, and for us the high point is the pool, definitely. The staff was super attentive and always provided gluten free options for me both in breakfast and dinner. The villa is also super close to the beach, you can walk there and come back in the afternoon to enjoy the amazing pool. We will definitely come back!

The amenities and surrounding area are beautiful. It’s a lovely and peaceful place, perfect for relaxing and feasting your eyes while enjoying the outdoors. The room was very nicely decorated, as were all the inside and outside common spaces. The staff was cheerful and helpful!

Please note you have to pay extra for bits like renting the bikes, extra plates for your own food etc.
