Had a wonderful stay. It was our first visit to Rionero and we very much appreciated how welcoming and accommodating Miguel was. The entire staff were pleasant and catered to our every need. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The bed was comfortable and temperature was comfortable too. Our first night in town, my wife and I had an excellent dinner at La Pergola. Our waiter, Nicola was very attentive and made great suggestions on our menu choices. Two nights later we went for pizza with a local Rionero family and we all raved over the food. Service was outstanding and we were happy the restaurant could accommodate a party of 10 on a Saturday evening with short notice. Each morning we were welcomed with a cappuccino and pastries that were fresh and tasty. We will stay again at La Pergola when we return.

Great long running family business. That's how they treat you...like family. Warm and hospitable. I have stayed at this hotel before and returned with pleasure. Michele the Manager is a great guy who remembered me from 6 years ago!!! The restaurant is genuine serving great food from local produce and local wine. Rionero is famous for its aglianico wineries which is one of the best Italian wines produced. This is a true example of Italy undiscovered. If you want a tourist free holiday where you can live and breathe like an everyday Italian, then Rionero In Vulture is the place for you and the La Pergola is where you want to stay. Central location to the Piazza, historic centre, shops, bars including little cantina's - you can't go wrong. Loved it! Love it. I'll be back

A lovely friendly family ran hotel with nothing too much trouble.

The only little minor issue is that there are no toilet facilities in the reception area having to go to the rooms to use them.

Spacious and well-equipped rooms. Helpful and hospitable Manager and staff. Good location, not far from the town centre.

The only point I can think of as a slight discomfort was the noise from the street in the early hours, (a dustbin truck?) and the sound of music from the bar/restaurant below. Minor inconveniences overall.

Comfortable bed, great shower.

The aircon was centrally controlled and not very strong. But we could open the windows for the cooler air at night.

We have stayed at La Pergola many times over the years and consider it our home in Rionero. Michele and his staff are just terrific.

We spent three nights at this lovely, family-owned hotel. The owner and his staff are very kind and pleasant. We were immediately stuck by the cleanliness of our room. The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful. When the air conditioning became problematic in our room, the owner moved us into a cooler, comfortable room. We highly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was fine. Just simple. Very clean large rooms. Nice bathroom with good water pressure.

No WiFi in the rooms, only at reception area.

So friendly and helpful. Early drunks in the bar,, bikes storage, early breakfast, so much flexibility.

Very large room and bathroom. Friendly accommodating staff. Quiet location. Free parking. Great breakfast.
