Everything was pretty smooth!

What a great location! Ilaria was so very helpful with everything. Nothing was too much trouble. She was so helpful with things to do, places to eat and visit etc. The place is spotlessly clean and we found the bed and room very comfortable. It’s a great location, 2min walk to the beach front and old town and shops. We’ve just come home today and it was very hot so the aircon was a godsend. The food in Salerno was delicious. There is a small balcony with a sea view off the kitchen which was lovely to sit out on in the morning or evening. It was nice and quiet at the right times? If you’re looking for a great base to explore the area this is perfect. Very chilled. Thanks again Ilaria. We’ll definitely be back 👍

Can’t fault it.

Very clean and comfortable. Bathroom facilities were great. Excellent location right in the middle of Salerno, easy walk to the station, to the beach and to the old town and great pizza right outside. Building felt very safe, access instructions and self check in were easy.

Issue with the bathroom door not opening from the inside. Flagged to the host who said it would be fixed within 24 hours but was not addressed during our 3 night stay. Room door was slidy so didn’t feel super secure/soundproof, but was lockable.

The location was very nice and clean. We even had a small nice breakfast and water in our room. I enjoyed we could spend time in the kitchen during the mornings. The location is close to everything within 5-10 mins walking. Professional nice, stuff.

The sink wasn't working properly in our bathroom, and there was some noise very early in the mornings due to setting the breakfast into place. Also, because the cleaning stuff was staring early as well. Couldn't sleep very well during mornings.

Premium location, right in the center filled wjth restaurants in the small old town streets nearby. The sea is just down the piazza. Very clean, with towels changed daily. Stazione Centrale is walking distance on the main street with all the shops. 15-20 minute walk to Molo Manfredi if you visit the Amalfi coast by boat. Great value for staying in Salerno.

The location and hospitality was great. Our room was extremely small and only good for one person but the host let us use the other room for the night. It does get loud in the morning as the cleaners arrive early and also there is no AC in the living space! Recommended if you only need a place to sleep for the night and not linger during the day.

Unfortunately, we had to cancel our visit the night before as my traveling partner became ill. The hostess was so gracious and empathetic. We knew, of course, that we would not be able to get a refund, but the hostess--in the most gracious way--made sure we understood that it was not possible. No worries on our part. We were only sorry we did not get to Salerno and have the chance to see the city and meet Ilaria. She even left open the option for us to come the next day, but that was not possible. However,I intend to visit Salerno another time and will definitely book B&B il Duca d'Amalfi. Thanks, Ilaria, for your kindness.

That we were unable to visit Salerno and had to cancel the night before. I cannot rate the property because we didn't get there. My 10 rating is for the host, Ilaria, who was most kind.

The room, bathroom, and common space kitchen were all beautiful, very light and cheerful. The balcony was a highlight, we spent a lot of time there enjoying a coffee, a glass of wine, or a relaxed lunch of cheese and bread and such. Everything was clearly communicated to us, from check-in stuff to using the coffee machine, and that made everything stress-free. We would absolutely stay here again.

The rooms are situated in a nice building in the very historical center of the city. Ilaria, the host, has welcome us in a very kind and professional way, she is super accurate and careful about all the guests needs. Everything is perfectly studied for the guest wellness. The room was very nice and clean with all the necessities and services. We were very pleased to stay in such a nice place.

Everything was good. The structure has no private park and it is necessary to find a park nearby the building but Ilaria was very available in helping and instructing us and facilitated the task.

Perfect location- right in the main square of the old town. Close to everything you need. I’m sad I could only stay one night!! Ilaria made me feel very welcome, even booking a taxi for me on checkout. Private room and bathroom, shared kitchen, and free coffee / tea / snacks. I would recommend everyone to stay here.
