The location is perfect, just a 10-minute walk from both the port and the train station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring nearby cities. The area is also filled with delightful cafes and restaurants, offering a true taste of the local cuisine. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and maintained daily with fresh towels. Breakfast was a charming touch; each morning, we received a voucher for a lovely café just across the street. The breakfast included a delicious coffee or cappuccino, juice, water, and a freshly baked croissant, which was the perfect way to start our day. I highly recommend Romantica Salerno BnB for anyone visiting the area. The combination of a prime location, outstanding cleanliness, and thoughtful amenities truly made our stay memorable.

We would have probably liked a bit more choice in the breakfast and maybe a kettle in the kitchen for a cup of tea. Saying that the location is perfect. Ideal for ferries and a 10 min to train station. The rooms comfortable and clean. Close to a choice of restaurants.

Definitely the check in because it’s done remotely. We arrived at 12.30pm. But we were told we couldn't check in until 3.15. The hosts were 20 mins after this time. Which rather worried us.

room was comfortable and had good AC. Bathroom needed a bit more storage space but was sufficient. Location was fantastic. Breakfast was a ticket to the caffe across the street which was good but montontonous - could add another food. The only real complaint was the foul smell that came from the bathroom, which is why there was an automatic air freshener that sprayed occasionally. It is probably something related to the plumbing in the building, perhaps beyond the owner's ability to control The gentleman who welcomed us is not on-site but was readily available and helpful. Except for the smell (keep the bathroom door closed) I would recommend this property. Close to the ferries to the Coast.

The host was fantastic—kind, professional, and made the check-in process smooth and quick. We especially appreciated the early check-in at 11:00. The location was excellent, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good.

Comfortable beds. Handy to good shopping and restaurants. Only about 1 km walk from train station to get around. Staff were helpful but had limited English

Hard to find. Nothing obvious above the door just a tiny name plate so a photo of the building and door would be helpful. Also despite notifying ahead when we wanted to check in and being a bit late due to train delay and difficulty locating we had to ring to get checked in and wait.

They accommodated us with very little notice after we had an issue at another property in Salerno. They quickly came to meet us to check us in so we didn’t spend the night stranded. They were professional and friendly and the room we were given was great, clean with strong wifi, air conditioning and a good bathroom.

clean comfortable spacious. Not too far from the ferry or from the railway station. Located on one of Salerno’s main streets. Good (but ‘fancy’) restaurant nearby (Casamare). breakfast offered at local cafe (but we didn’t use as had an early train so breakfasted near the Station).

Note there is no shower (only shower attachment in bath); for me this is a problem as I like a shower, but others might prefer a bath. Personal preference. Accommodation located on 2nd floor of residential building which looks a bit forbidding if you’re not used to town living. Salerno is typical scruffy town with rubbish all over.

excellent location

it takes time to find parking space on the street. it cost 2 euro for 1 hour from 8AM - 3AM (the machine know to calculate untill the next morning). the host suggested to take the car to his parking place for 20 euro and bring the car when the guest need it.

Perfect location in the city center, in the same time very close to the promenade. Sara is a great host, she was very kind and helpful. Room was very comfortable and clean with the convenient option of having breakfast in the bar just in front of the B&B. In the kitchen you can find the big map with main points to visit marked on it and couple of guides and maps of Salerno and the Amalfi Coast.
