Very service minded staff. Helpful and nice. We checked in at midnight-warm welcoming. Staff Talked English 👍 Continental breakfast in a welcoming and nice breakfast room. Free parking on the road. Beautiful and safe environment
No so on even if it was advertised- so a hot 🥵 night with 4 people in one familyroom…

This hotel is a perfect place for an easy going stay. The staff are friendly and attentive whilst maintaining a relaxed atmosphere. There are many places to spend time in the hotel including a very comfortable communal lounge, outdoor seating in the shade with the company of a beautiful resident cat, dining rooms and of course the spa facilities (although we didn't use the spa this time as we decided to swim in the river opposite the hotel). This was our second stay at Balneum and we would be happy to return again in a cooler season.
A little too warm - I was looking forward to a refreshing stay during the hot weather but unfortunately most rooms do not have air conditioning and have very heavy furnishings which seem to prevent air circulation. In my opinion, small rooms would be better with fewer fabrics. A small thing is that we were confused about the meal service and room service as there's no menu at hand to check before making the decision to eat at the hotel or eat out.

Excellent breakfast,
no air conditioning in the room (the night we kept open window in the balcony) - just half spa was functional.
