Breakfast was plentiful. Very "Italian" - which means a lot of different fresh cake every day :-). Every day we were asked if we wanted cleaning in the room and, if so, at what time. The accommodation consisted of a 1st floor apartment with its own entrance and internal staircase. Kitchen/dining room 97sq.feet; bedroom 172sq.feet; walk-in closet 35 sq.feet & bathroom 65 sq.feet. The mountain town of Stia is beautifully situated along the river Arno - which continues down to Florence. Very little "touristy" with 4 - 6 quite nice and reasonable places to eat lunch and dinner 441 meters above sea level, surrounded by open fields in otherwise wooded mountains, with fantastic views as a result.

The hot water supply is somewhat fluctuating, so you have to take care during the hot shower :-)

We booked a twin room which turned out to be a suite. Really spacious, clean, comfortable and with charm. Windows to the court side, hence quiet. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and responsive. The breakfast was really varied and even for gluten-intolerant people there was a good choice for bf.

The historic building, the comfortable room with a fridge, there were couple of "savory" items for breakfast (nice change compared to the usually only sweet Italian breakfast in other places), we could park the car just around the corner. Thanks for making a later check-in possible!

Wonderful small hotel in old classic italian style. Ladies in reception and breakfast room were very nice, warm and helpful. The rooms very comfortable, quite big, good equipped and clean.

One small disadvantage - lack of electric kettle in the room ( for tourist used to it).

One of my favorite stays in my 1.5 months in Europe. Patrizia was so kind and accommodating, the hotel was spotlessly clean and so elegant, while remaining comfortable. Perfect location in the piazza, delicious breakfast, and one of my favorite touches — a beautiful mural on the ceiling of my room!

Photos of the rooms that we paid for didn’t quite match the actual rooms - the bathroom was very small, no window and smaller darker room.

Wonderful hotel. Super friendly staff, great location. Free parking. Highly recommended. Would definitely come back. We booked the apartment and it was the best.

Nice to have a largish apartment but still have the hotel facilities. They were very helpful finding me a doctor in town.

Stairs up to first floor - no lift.

The room was really spacious, the location is great, the staff was really nice, breakfast was tasty.

The windows were facing the backyard which had some strange smell, so we kept the window shut.

The girl at reception that checked us in and out and also served breakfast was remarkable. She was helpful and kind and wonderful to talk to.
