Hosts were lovely. Was nice to get away from it all for a few nights. The breakfasts were good except coffee was never very hot.

Road in a bit rough to property. Would be good to be able to make a tea or coffee during the day as a few km to town.

We were rudely forced to leave in the middle of the night by the owner after he accused us of having violated property policies for having accessed a liquor cabinet, specifically having consumed a glass of liquor and having borrowed a teacup with no permission. Since we had nowhere to go, we left the following morning without consuming the breakfast we had paid for. Mind you the cabinet in question was not locked, there was no sign warning costumers not to touch it and the cabinet was located in the shared common area on the ground floor, where customers would consume their morning breakfast. We checked the property policies multiple times and no written mention was made as of August 12 as to the fact that cabinets in shared parts of the property could not be opened. We are still shocked from the encounter and verbal aggression we received from the owners, and unfortunately, we were not made to feel welcome here.

We recommend not falling for the pictures that were carefully selected as part of the property description, remotely hinting at welcoming diversity at this property. Please be warned of blatant discrimination from the owners. The property view is gorgeous, but it is not worth being treated with disrespect, as the owner might make accusations against you and kick you out of the premises for any random reason. We had paid to stay at the property for two nights with breakfast included. During the first night, while returning back to our room after a dinner out, we accessed an open cabinet located in the common area of the property with the intention of pouring ourselves a nightcap and borrowing a teacup. The owner and his partner ambushed us, yelling at us, treating us as thieves, as "kleptomaniacs" (quoting) and consequently kicking us out of the property passed midnight with nowhere to go. We were forced to book another property in the middle of the night and left the following morning without consuming the paid breakfast. My partner is a brown person and the owners were clear about how they intended on treating him, by talking down at him with a dismissive and humiliating tone. The several apologies and offers from my partner to pay for the entire bottle of liquor were repeatedly and rudely dismissed. Also note that you’ll be watched 24/7 while staying at this property, as the owner "watched us on the cameras" (quoting). Any audio or video recording without proper written notice is illegal by Italian law and no camera signage was posted at the property as of August 12th. Unfortunately, I cannot give it 0 stars because rationally, that’s all you could give them. I have never had an experience like this at any of the many properties I was fortunate to stay at over the years.
