This place is dreamy beautiful. It’s a gorgeous house built or transformed into a B&B. Our room opened into the front patio with the pool and stunning view overlooking the sea. The room was clean, comfortable and accommodations felt more expansive bc of the shared outdoor space. The manager was friendly and responsive and the owner - this is their home - made a delicious breakfast of homemade cakes and espresso which we enjoyed overlooking the sea. Parking was also provided which was key for us.

Only caveat is the location. It’s a good 20 min not ideal walk into town and the beaches. Stretches include walking along a busy road with a tight curb. This wasn’t a deal breaker for us and we’d definitely stay again but good to go in eyes open that this is a bit outside of city center and the beaches.

We stayed at Suite del Faro for 5 days and were very pleased by the hospitality we were welcomed with. Sergio was very kind and thoughtful. The food they served at breakfast were from either homemade or from local produce, and it was a great meal to kick off the day, in front of a very nice pool and a lovely view of the beach. The room was spacious and clean, and amenities were restocked daily. We also had the privilege of meeting Mario (the owner), who gave us the best recommedations for lunch and dinner options. He was also very kind to make a reservation for us at Makum Beach (which also served AMAZING food!) Overall, we had a lovely time, and will surely be back!

Sergio is one of the best hosts we've ever had, same goes for his colleagues. We instantly felt like home. They made us some delicious drinks on the house and were helpful all the time. The common area by the pool is really nice, the pool was always very clean and overall the views and the feeling was great. Also very quiet place, so we slept very good. Private parking spot also very practical. Breakfast was simply amazing, everything was delicious.

The room was perhaps a bit small, nonetheless it was enough. We would recommend booking the suite because it's really large and has a huge living room, in this case you would have plenty of space, nonetheless if you won't spend a lot of time at the hotel it's also fine to book one of the normal rooms. City center is not very close and is better to go by car, but normally if you are visiting Scalea you will have a car, so no problem at all.

Property owner was maybe the nicest human I have ever met. He picked us up from the train station when we arrived and drove us back early in the morning after we checked out. He provided a homemade and delicious breakfast each morning whenever you chose to wake up. The view is as good as it gets.

The property was fantastic. The only caveat was that it was a bit of a hike to get down to the town and back up to the hotel later. That being said the owner often provides rides before 20:00.

Beautiful property, we had the whole floor with huge terrace overlooking the see! Breakfast near the pool was outstanding too. The place is very quiet and relaxing!

The shower on top floor is tiny due to the sealing , but on top floor nothing could be done, we understand, but the whole floor floor is a great privilege on top floor .

It was so clean and tidy, I we felt very relaxed there. This is run like a small boutique hotel not B&B's where someone is doing rooms out of an annex. Sergio went above and beyond to make the stay perfect. The breakfast was the best food we had while in the area loved it.

It is quite high up we walked down to town/beach and back up again if it was light. But in the evening taxi back up as we felt route not the best for pedestrians.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful and convenient location. Despite my stay being during the off-season, the service exceeded expectations—attentive, professional, and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and well-maintained. I especially appreciated the à la carte breakfast, which offered both quality and variety. I can confidently give this hotel a full recommendation and would be happy to return in the future.

From the moment I Arrived, I was treated as if I was the only person there. Sergio and Mario and the whole staff will make you feel like no other place. From the amazing breakfast, to Sergio booking a car and having it dropped off at the hotel. The property itself is stunning and close to the beach and the town. I loved coming back from the beach and sitting by the beautiful pool with a drink and cigar until the late hours of the evening. One of the best places I've ever stayed at.

We had a lovely overnight stopover at Le suite del Faro.. A lovely comfortable room and bed. Breakfast was delicious sitting outside overlooking the pool and lovely sea view. Our host recommend a nice restaurant down by the beach. It was a bit of a steep walk and involved a few stairs. The restaurant manager kindly gave us a ride back up the hill after we had eaten

The accommodation was great, we spent a week here. The villa is gorgeous with an outdoor pool. I was charmed. All around everything beautifully landscaped. We had a room overlooking the garden. The room was very clean and they cleaned it every day. The bed had a pretty good mattress, 2 types of pillows(one thinner and one higher and harder,we had ours so I can't describe). Breakfast is served right in the villa. The choice is classic Italian(croasant, cake) and then eggs + bacon, fruit, ham, cheese, toast. To drink coffee, tea, juice. Everything is fresh +great service. I have nothing to complain about. I hope to come back here soon. Scalea is a historic town, so besides the beach and the sun you can also discover its historical charm. The town is rugged. Don't be afraid of gentle hills ( almost all towns in Italy are like this).🙂
