Amazing location. Family run historic hotel with a lot of character, with balconies right in front of the castle. Parking is free on the street, therefore not guaranteed, but staff at the hotel will help you to find one. Annamaria is the smiling and super friendly host who can prepare truly home made Italian pasta and delicious local food in her small on site restaurant. You do not have a menu to choose as such. Just say you will consider dinner or lunch, Annamaria will let you know what she will prepare and if you like it just arrange an approximate time for lunch or dinner. Honest, it is the perfect day to finish your day.

Everything was fine. Perhaps the shower could be modernised but hey, after all an old days mixer is part of the character of this lovely historic place.

The owner Anna Maria is amazing. She welcomed us like if we’re part of her family and gave us lunch even though the kitchen was just about to close. The location itself is very easy to access and the view on the castle is really nice. From there, you can basically visit the whole city by foot. The room was spacious, clean and well organized, with everything we needed. Bathroom as well was clean, with clean towels ready for us.

The hotel is in a lovely location in a hill town that has preserved its historical character. The host was very welcoming and made us an unusual dinner of local dishes as we were the only guests there. A wonderful off' the tourist track place to stay.

Lovely location in old part of hilltop town, good-sized room with small balcony. Parking free in nearby square. Very friendly, welcoming host. Very clean throughout. Shower excellent. Breakfast good but limited to sweet items. Authentic evening meal served but no choice of menu.

Beautiful location at the highest point in the town with good views of the castle, the town square and the surrounding landscape. The proprietor was friendly and helpful. As requested, she prepared for us in the restaurant a fine small meal with local specialties for a very reasonable price.

Beautiful village on a mountain top. Hotel/Auberge right behind the old castle with trees growing in the old moat. Quiet and secluded but central. Friendly and caring attention by the owner Anna Marie

Breakfast was fair - freshly baked croissant and good coffee would be an improvement.

the location--in the center of historic Teggiano; the view from the room balcony of the town and the valley below the town; the room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water.The breakfast was abundant.

We loved the warm welcome by the owner/manager of the hotel who offered us coffee and showed parking place in front of the hotel. The location is also perfect to explore Teggiano.

- Walls of the hotel are paper thin - we could hear our neighbor's TV - No duvet on bed, just a simple cover. This might be working in the summer but at the end of September nights get cold and thin sheet isn't enough. The pillows aren't most comfortable either. - We were charged 40EUR for a dinner in the hotel's restaurant which is a rather high comparing to other restaurants in the area. The dinner was (pasta dish/each, one sausage, one vegetarian main dish, house wine and an espresso - without starters or desserts)
