Cosy bedroom with en-suite within the owners welcoming home. Our room was on the top floor with privacy and access to their terrace. Also the property was in the pedestrian part of the old Trani, 3 minute walk to the seafront. Really enjoyed the breakfast included in the local cafe too! Silvia and Alessandro were both fantastic hosts offering plenty of insight about Trani and being more than available to their guests.

Walk-in shower was comfortable, I would suggest renewing the shower head and the sealant gum around the glass door as the water would leak into the rest of the bathroom. The only hiccup from otherwise an exceptional stay at the Torrente Antico.

Everything was so perfect during our stay! The host - Silvia - is exceptional, she catered to all our needs and gave many good recommendations. The location is very good as well - central, but not too noisy, even in the mornings. Our room was very clean and comfy, there is a terrace for common use upstairs. The breakfast is in a cafe nearby, with a selection of pastry which was good. Highly recommended!

The power outlets to charge your phone are not next to the bed (they were occupied by the night lights) which was not a problem for us, but something to note for mode needy travellers.

Sivia and her husband are incredibly kind and helpful. The rooms are beautifully and functionally designed, newly renovated, with a comfortable bed. Guests can enjoy a coffee machine and a stylishly decorated rooftop terrace. The building has an elevator, so access is easy. The location is perfect, close to everything, yet in a quiet area. Highly recommend!

Only breakfast is served at the nearby café – very basic Italian style.

There is hust ONE word for Sylvie and her place with only a few rooms - the word is fantastic. I have never met a friendlier host, and the mini hotel is wonderful.

There is nothing to not like!!! Super quiet and in the middle of the best of Trani. We want to come back and stay longer.

It's a lovely place to visit. First of all, the place is quite incredible. At least a few hundred years old tenement house with very high ceilings and nice finishings, located in the old town of Trani. You're very close to the port and all attractions as well as restaurants and shops from here. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful. It's great to have chat with them and they will gladly recommend the best places to visit and restaurants to try. The apartment itself is quite big, in good style and very comfy. The bed is large and comfortable. The bathroom (with a shower) has all the equpiment and amenities you need. The balcony is a nice addition. There is a well functioning A/C, too. Everyday we received fresh towels (although we didn't even ask for this), the bed was made and floor cleaned. In the small cafe just opposite our building you get your breakfasts (Italian style). It was a great experience for us to be guests at this place. Trani is a nice, small town, not spoiled by massive tourism and the mojority of the people you meet here, are friendly Italians. You can feel the pleasant lifestyle of people living here. Also, the train ststion let's you conveniently visit many towns and cities, too (Barletta, Bari, Monopoli, or even Rome if you're up for a longer trip). I strongly recommend visiting Trani and staying at B&B Torrente Antico.

No real disadvantages. Maybe just a word of advice to those who are not used to the Italian course of the day - the breakfast will be very light (like a croissant and a coffee light) and most of the restaurants open up at 20:00. So make sure you will get some food on your own until the evening (or find one of the few open places) if you are more used to heavy breakfasts/big dinners at 13:00... Apart from that - it's a beautiful Dolce Vita in here.

We had four happy and wonderful days in Trani thanks to Sylvia and her husband, Alessandro. Clean and beautiful accommodation very close to the port, the center of Trani... Friendly host... You don't have to worry about parking. Alessandro will guide you to the private parking lot and drive you to your accommodation. I strongly recommend this place if you want to have a perfect vacation in Trani.We will definitely come back.

An ideal location for exploring Trani. Was easy to find. Lift access was a bonus. The room was comfortable and a good size.

The shower screen didn't stop the water, which meant the ensuite floor got very wet. The towels struggled to dry, but they were changed every day, which helped.

Silvia, the host, couldn't be nicer! She met us at the property and took some time to show us around and give good tips about Trani. Great location, with entire Centro and harbor in walking distance. The room is quiet and comfortable with a great shower. Loved the breakfast provided just two doors down. Also, incredible rooftop for hanging out.

We liked everything, we hated to leave!

The location was great, right in the old part of Trani and only a couple of minutes away from the lovely port area with many restaurants. I arrived by train from Bari and the host's husband picked me up and also dropped me off at the train station, which was really appreciated. My room was next to the roof top terrace with lots of plants and garden furniture, a pleasant spot to hang out with a drink.

The rooms were very well decorated and kept very clean. The host was lovely- welcoming, friendly, and very helpful. The location was perfect just a short walk to the marina and the local sites, and a five minute walk to the train station. We loved that breakfast was served in the cafe next door giving us an authentic italian start to our day.
