This new hotel is in a wonderful location and offers an excellent guest experience. The large pool and lounge area are great for relaxing, and the staff are incredibly attentive and polite. The food is a major highlight, with both breakfast and dinner menus featuring delicious dishes made with fresh, local ingredients. The variety at breakfast is impressive, and they regularly change the options to keep things interesting.

This hotel positions itself as a luxury establishment, but some small details detracted from a high-end experience: - Drinking Water: Only one small bottle of water is provided upon arrival, with subsequent bottles costing extra. It would be a welcome change to offer complimentary water throughout the stay, as is common in the region. - Amenities: Bathrobes were not provided in the rooms, which is an unexpected omission for a hotel of this caliber. - Eco Practices: The hotel's policy of not automatically changing towels feels like a cost-saving measure at the expense of guest convenience. While I support environmental efforts, I believe a high-end hotel should find ways to be green without compromising guest comfort.

We loved our four night stay at Borgo Mulino a Vento: the best hotel of our excellent Puglia holiday. It felt a very sophisticated, friendly and charming hotel with delicious, quality food for breakfast and dinner, excellent wine and friendly, kind staff. As English we were massively in the minority and few spoke English - but this was charming for us and never an issue. Practically, Borgo Mulino a Vento is about 10 minutes drive from Otranto (one of the nicest towns we visited). There’s plenty of free parking at the hotel and I would say you need your own transport. We used it as a base to explore Gallipoli and the coastline south. Our room for three was comfortable: not over fussy but sophisticated with a double and single bed and kettle, mini-fridge, terrace, etc. All rooms are ground floor and in blocks set over a reasonably large area of garden. The pool is lovely with plenty of seating. Breakfast was excellent - a wide range of delicious options. Dinner was equally excellent (we were half board) and we loved all the local food often made with produce from the hotel gardens. I would highly recommend Borgo Mulino a Vento and would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Everything! Such a beautiful resort. The staff were amazing. We had a such a lovely warm welcome from Alice on reception who told us about the resort then gave us a glass of prosecco. We then sat down for lunch which was amazing. The pool was fabulous and you could always get a chair. The rooms were beautiful decorated and cleaned every day. As we had hired a car we only opted for breakfast. The breakast had plenty of variety and amazing home baked cakes. We did have dinner in the restaurant on our last night and it was the best meal of our entire trip. Anna was our server and she was very informative. We really wished we had opted for half board as the food was outstanding. If you are looking to book this little hidden gem make sure you book half board you won't regret it. They only sold peroni zero. We didn't like the other beer. Everything else was perfect.

Our stay was truly memorable, thanks to the outstanding hospitality. The warmth and attentiveness of the staff, especially Anna and Alice, made us feel incredibly welcome. Their genuine care and personal attention were so touching that we decided to extend our stay. The quality of the food was exceptional, and we thoroughly enjoyed the live dance music evening and the olive oil excursion, both thoughtfully included in our package. The large pool with poolside service added to the relaxation, making our experience unforgettable. We left with full hearts and cherished memories.

This resort is truly a gem, featuring a beautifully curated garden and a delightful pool that enhances the overall experience. The room, while not particularly large, was both comfortable and clean. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. The on-site bar and restaurant were equally impressive, offering not only excellent food but also a charming setting with tables nestled in the stunning garden. The breakfast was also outstanding, with a variety of options to start the day on a high note. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

This is an exceptionally well run hotel. All the staff seemed to enjoy working at the hotel and really went out of their way to make it a special experience for us. The interior design is brilliant, blending nicely with the nature while providing a touch of luxury. The breakfast selection was excellent and the restaurant quality was very high, using some fresh ingredients from their gardens. The location is great, 10 minutes from Otranto, short drive from good beaches and bars and restaurants. Tour of the underground olive mill was also a great addition.

It was so nice in the hotel it was hard to drag ourselves away to explore the local area!

We loved our stay at Borgo Mulino. The setting is gorgeous, surrounded by olilve trees and the quiet countryside. Breakfast was delicious - full of local specialties. The owners and the staff could not have been kinder or more helpful. It's a rare place that feels relaxing and authentic.

Since we needed to rent a car, we found the location a bit remote, especially from the hightlights of northern Puglia -

very nice and lovely place to stay. unfortunately we only booked for two nights because we were traveling to different cities and locations. the breakfast was very nice. many options to eat. I would definitely recommend and I am also planning to stay once again.

be careful with the pool, the depth is misleading. my daughter jumped from side and hit the bottom hard. it did not hurt badly but could be worse. there should be more warning signs to prevent this happening. Otherwise it was a very nice pool and nothing else to complain.

What a stunning oasis of calm and beauty. If only we could have stayed longer we would. Staff bent over backwards for us. Upgraded us because we requested a quiet room, so much attention to detail at breakfast time and Daniela allowed us to use her phone to make an emergency call. Welcome drink was very lovely! We borrowed two v decent bikes to cycle round the countryside as the sun set and the gym looked great even tho we didn’t get a chance to use it as we had to leave in a hurry. All staff were fab, bed super comfy, stunning interiors and would highly recommend this hotel. Would have done a cookery class if time too! Quick and easy drive to Otranto. Please don’t miss staying at this beautiful place!

Lovely family run hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The accommodation was lovely and relaxing and exceptionally well kept and clean. Breakfast and dinner were excellent . We did a pasta making class at the hotel, which was a lovely experience and great fun. The owner gave us a lovely tour of their kitchen garden as well. It was obvious how hands on and proud the family are of their business.
