It is a wonderful beach holiday hotel, and I personally found the hotel theme charming. The rates are high, but for a short stay, we found the service and spaciousness of the hotel worth it.

The pool is tiny so do not let that be the determining factor in choosing this hotel. Also, keep in mind that if using public transportation, you will have to rely on the bus that passes every 1-2 hours, and when full, does not stop to pick up passengers. On one occasion, we waited ages for the bus, only for it to be full and pass us, and to not lose out on a paid experience, we spent 30 euros on a taxi from the hotel to Salerno, which was only about a ten minute journey. The buses run late and even to reach Vico, you will have to use it.

The hotel has a spectacular view of the sea and the beach of Vietri Sul Mare. Is a clasical luxury hotel and event hall with good quality furniture and decorations. Is very clean and easy acces to the beach, seaside restaurant and nearby bus station (around 150 m).

The breakfast is based on tarts, croissants and jams. There are no vegetables, eggs or other types of classic continental breakfast food available. Our toilet was very noisy while filling with water.

The location is absolutely wonderful! Hard to get to, a long drive along the treacherous Amalfi coast roads but when you get into you room, the view is spectacular!!

We were underneath (try to avoid room 209) what looked like a small function room or maybe an extension to the restaurant and they were rearranging furniture until quite late at night above us.

The view from the balcony was the best part. So lovely, every morning waking up to that shining sea. It also is not overlooked at all. Very clean, air con worked well (a little noisy though). Asking to have breakfast in the room was lovely and relaxing, it was a little extra cost, but worth it. Breakfast food was also nice, but make sure to tell them your requirements (veggie, coffee order etc...) Because they won't ask. Pool was a nice addition, as the beach is further than it looks to walk and costs (15 mins hill).The pool was also slightly bigger than it looks from the photos. Location wise, we picked vietri because it's not fair up the cost from Salerno (for transport links) but the reality was that the boats crossing from Salerno went many of the other towns with not much more effort. Still, it is a very beautiful place and worth seeing, which we may not have travelled that far across to, if we weren't staying there. The hotel is on the road, with no pavements so the walk up and down is a very hilly walk to the main town- we rented e-bikes from the town. This is common in many places on the coast though to be honest, if you plan on traveling around.

Hotel was oddly quiet until Saturday when returned to a wedding party, and it all made sense. The noise didn't bother us though. We think this hotel is very geared towards weddings, even down to how the breakfast room is set up. The bed was hard and the pillow was flat, so actually I left with a bad back. No real frills and a tad dated but a good base to leave each day and explore from.

The view of the water was incredible, the breakfast was fresh and delicious, the staff friendly, the room clean and comfortable. Vietri has a convenient ferry stop that links you to Maiori, Minori, Amalfi, Positano, Capri, etc. This was the easiest way for us to get around as the bus does not often stop at the Vietri bus stop and parking is so limited that we did not want to rent a car. The town of Vietri is easily accessed through the back gate of the hotel and down the hill. There are yummy restaurants only a few minutes walk from the hotel. We loved our stay at Hotel Voce Del Mare and recommended it!

The staff did not have the best information about how to get around the area. We happened upon the ferry which was our savior, but the staff had recommended a 30 minute walk to buy bus tickets rather than letting us know that the ferry was a 5 minute walk.

Location is superb. Also convenient. Rooms spacious, good bed.

Breakfast is really bad and even the cappuccino is a disgrace for Italy. Seems to be an event location and the personell is mostly aloof and slightly grumpy. You get your things solved but with a lot of push and shove. Not the open Italien way...

Amazing view form the balcony, spacious room with all amenities, clean bathroom even if a little dated but in a very good condition. Good continental breakfast, sweet and savoury option to order at your table, everything was fresh and good quality. Very convenient parking near the entrance with plenty of space but we visited during winter time, might not be this easy to park in high season.

It was a pleasant stay, the structure is a bit dated but well maintained and recently refreshed. The lift was a bit small and often the door was not properly shut by guests, a newer lift would have not have this issue, anyway stairway has a beautiful view to be enjoyed while walking up or down.

My room had a wonderful view of the sea. I woke up to an amazing sunrise. I loved it so much. I also enjoy their sweet breakfast. Thank you 😊

The internet wasn't working and the hotel was far on the cliff. You need a car to reach there or you can take a long walk. You have access to the beach but you have to take a lot of stairs, so keep in mind that the number of stairs you go down is the same number you have to climb to get back to the hotel.

View is incredible. Worth it for the price.

Beds and pillows are very hard and uncomfortable. The walls are very thin and can hear everything. Couldn’t sleep one night because the room next door to us was watching TV loudly. Also not an ideal location if you don’t have a car- the walk down the cliff edge is very steep and you have to do the walk multiple times just for food and to go anywhere. It was fine for a couple of nights.

The view is spectacular. The room has a tiny balcony where you can sit if you don’t suffer from vertigo. We had a good dinner at their restaurant and a great breakfast on the open terrace.

Everything was very white with blinding lights. The restaurant was more like a ballroom for weddings without the flowers, so not a spot of color. Food was good though. 80 euros for main, dessert, coffee and a bottle of wine.
