We stayed four nights and had a very relaxing experience. The room was not overly luxurious, but the bed was very comfortable, the size was good and the in room facilities were as expected. The wow factor came from the view and large terrace. The hotel overlooks the Gulf of salerno at the Eastern end of the Amafi coast, and the view is simply amazing. Raito is a small town near Vietri Sul Mare. It is a quiet and relaxing place. The hotel offers a shuttle to Vietri, which is really convenient. You can also walk from Raito to smaller villages like Albori, which are quite scenic and enjoyable. The area is not as commercial and touristic as Amalfi or Pisitano, but that is a big plus in our book. We got to experience more local events such as the Lemon Festival. Ferries also stop at Vietri for days out in Amalfi or Capri. The hotel offers two restaurants, one more elaborate and a pizzeria. The food at both places was tasty, with no concerns there. The hotel has a bar that serves really top-notch cocktails for 10 euros. There are several terraces with sea view, as well as a great pool, some lemon gardens, and a relatively small gym. A big highlight for us was the staff. They are really helpful and friendly and made our stay that more special. From the front desk to the shuttle driver, the cleaning staff, or the restaurant waiters, all were super attentive and helpful. We were also allowed to check in a tad early and check out an hour late, which was great.

The only little gripes I had were that the gym was not really super stacked. And that we could not really find light lunch options such as salads or grilled fish or meat in or around the hotel.

I could talk at length about the stunning location, breathtaking views, great food; but you would expect this on the Amalfi coast right? So what makes Hotel Raito different for me is the amazing guest relations & staff they have working for them, that bring everything together. They are attentive to your every need. We travelled for the first time with my son abroad and they made the overall holiday so much easier, from arranging transport, to our room needs and so much more. Everything was taken care of. My son was also 'adopted' by two members of the team Carmelo and Alessia (pictured). I must say a word or two on Carmelo; he is truly kind and amazing human being. Armando was also always a great help. The hotel and manager Luigi is lucky to have them and he is running a great operation in that little corner of paradise.

I cannot think of anything that we did not like. As a family we had an amazing time and will definitely be back in the future.

Great welcoming hotel staff, modern rooms and suites with sublime sea views, very clean and safe common areas, expansive breakfast, spacious hotel with many seating areas and pool bar and restaurants, excellent for weddings, day trip concierge services, wellness services, free shuttle service to Vietri, close to Naples and Salerno airports, close to Amalfi & Positano water taxis from Port. Riato village uphill. Vietri downhill. Partner hotel in Rome and Sicily. Genuine Southern Italian hospitality. Would definitely return.

Carmelo and Alessia made us feel so welcome and the staff were all professional and incredibly attentive and of highest quality personnel and the overall experience exceeded our expectations they were always going the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed, from the moment we checked in to our departure I highly recommend hotel Raito. The luxurious accommodations were spotless, and the decor was modern and tasteful, giving us a serene and comfortable atmosphere to relax in.. The view from the hotel was just breathtaking The hotel's convenient location was perfect for exploring, using the hotel shuttle service and the peaceful ambiance provided a wonderful escape from the city's bustle. We felt truly pampered and will definitely be back for a longer visit!".

We had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Raito. The location is breathtaking, with stunning views over the Amalfi Coast. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The staff were exceptionally kind, professional, and always ready to help – they made us feel really welcome. Special thanks to Alessia from Guest Experience, who made everything even more pleasant with her warm attitude. The breakfast was delicious, and the whole atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing and elegant. It was a perfect experience, and we would definitely love to come back. The view, the staff were excellent always friendly and helpful.

Air con in the room was very poor. Needs upgrading. Hotel shuttle service to the town centre was available but the 2 hour gap in service both ways could be improved. The trip from hotel to town centre is only 5 min by the shuttle. The taxi service at the taxi rank in the central is pretty much non existent. Call the hotel to get them to book a taxi to pick you up to return to hotel otherwise you will wait forever, if you are lucky. Apparently there are only 2 taxis operating from the town centre. Unbelievable!

This hotel is a hidden gem away from the busy tourist areas along the coast and the views are amazing. I would recommend getting a car as the hotel has free parking so it was easy to get to and easy to explore towns nearby. The hotel is quite secluded but there is a shuttle service free of charge from the hotel which will take you to the closest town which is beautiful and has lovely restaurants and shops to explore. There is also a vineyard 5 minute walk away which you can see from the hotel, it was stunning and a lovely experience. The breakfast was lovely, lots of hot and cold options with a fantastic view. The pool area is gorgeous and the staff could not do more for us, everyone was so friendly and helpful. We cannot wait to come back.

Everything was fantastic… Great views, the food & service in the restaurant was amazing and reasonably priced, the room was clean and modern, all staff were very attentive and accommodating (especially Carmelo who planned / booked our excursions, Franco who served us in the restaurant & the people on the front desk who were always helpful), the spa was relaxing, the shuttle bus into Vietri was convenient, Raito & Vietri were not as touristy as other parts of the coast which was nice. We looked at a lot of hotel options on the Amalfi coast and I am so glad that we stayed here.

Previous reviews made me hesitate about this hotel choice - glad we stayed here. A word about the city....lovely, understated and wish we had left more time on schedule to explore

We had a sea view room, view was phenomenal and room was clean and nice. Dined at both restaurant, food was very nice.

Location wasn't ideal, however the hotel runs a free shuttle to Vietri Sul Mare centreal throughout the day. If not suitable, they will shuttle you outside of hours for €10 one way. Getting into Salerno is easy via train, gets very tricky outside of train run times as users and taxi services are very hard to get back to the hotel. Bed was very firm, I did not sleep well due to this.
