The best place to stay in Viggiano. Very comfortable & clean rooms, generous hospitality and prime location. If you love music and history, this is the place to stay. I visited Viggiano to search for the origins of my great-grandfather who was born here. The host of the b&b, Michele, organised with local tourism to find the house he lived in. It was such a lovely surprise and meant a lot to me. We also met his lovely scholar friend & I shared my family’s history. Michele also helped us park our car and gave great local recommendations, ensuring a wonderful stay. The view from the room was also beautiful! I highly recommend and look forward to returning.

Every single thing - this is an amazing property that was carefully refurbished to preserve the amazing history of the building and bring modern amenities to guests. Upon the moment of arrival, the host was welcoming and informed us of features that made our stay truly comfortable. We were a family of five visiting and the three rooms we had included unique features while incorporating continuity through the refurbishment that resulted in calm and elegant lodging. We could not felt any more welcome by our fine host! In fact, if schedule had flexibility, we would have loved to stay longer. The accommodation and beautiful town of Viggiano make you feel right at home.

Location was wonderful however it would have been better to have a kettle so I could make a cup of camomile tea once in the room. There was no facility to do this down stairs either. It was great to go out for breakfast but a cup of tea would have been nice late at night.

Perhaps the fact that one could not make a cup of tea in the room.

I liked everything about my experience at this guesthouse. The host is a lovely man. The room and common areas are spotlessly clean. The location is superb. Viggiano is a wonderful place to visit.

It is perfectly located near the Basilica with stunning views!
