We had the Suit and it was very nice . The room is very big and was a good price . Location is super good and next to the ferry .

The Suit bathroom is very nice and big but it needs maintenance . You have to first fill up the bathtub , then walk out of the room to switch on the jackuzi . After you take the jackuzi , you need to first walk out and switch it off , then try to empty the bath . Off course the tap couldn’t open and had to open it with a hairpin . But the rest was good .

A great opportunity to sample a taste of the "grandeur" of a beautiful historical villa at the southern coast. The lady of the house was very helpful and friendly. Less than 2 minutes driving to get on the ferry to Sicily. There is a very nice Italian restaurant just 200 metres walking from the villa where you can get a decent meal for less than 20€.

The breakfast could have been a bit more elaborate for a more Northern taste but in line with a normal Italian breakfast. A very nice home made plum pie though!

Good location. We were taking a ferry to Sicily so perfect spot to stay. Very elegant building with great view of Sicily. Host very nice and helpful. We stayed in a separate apartment from the house so can’t comment on the rooms inside the actual house. . It had a full kitchen and more than one bed. Would be nice for a family. Good secure parking inside the gate. Nice breakfast.

Property could use some TLC and repair. Where we stayed, the toilet flush had come off. Could still flush the toilet. Light in shower did not work.

Francesca, the hostess was incredibly gracious. She picked me up at the train station when my train arrived late and took me back in the morning to catch my ferry to Sicily. I had fresh squeezed orange juice from the oranges in her garden, strawberries, delicious cornetto, crostino, cake and cappuccino. A perfect Italian breakfast! The view from the balconies is beautiful. I wish I had time to stay a little longer. Grazie per tutti Francesca. Mi è piaciuto molto il mio soggiorno.

I will mention, if you have mobility issues, there are a lot of stairs, otherwise it’s perfect!

The villa is just fantastic! We are so in love with it, with the nature around, with the garden. Everything was unforgettable. It was very clean and comfortable, luxury style room with a beautiful room perfume smell ❤️ and the bed was perfect. Unfortunately we were to short there to enjoy it fully, but we promised to ourselves to come next year and stay there 2-3 nights and enjoy the nature 😊 Thanks to Francesca and the very kind lady working there, who made our stay even more beautiful ❤️ We say arivederci 🤗

This property was just perfect for our stay The fact that there was a breakfast waiting for us when we got down was so amazing. Francesca, the host was accessible at all times. The staff, Her name was also Francesca, was so pleasant and so accommodating. I would recommend anyone to stay A beautiful Bed and Breakfast

This is a beautiful old villa, big staircase up to the door which is illuminated at night, Parquet floors and ornate decor and beautiful modern bathroom, lots of marble. Nice view of Messina strait. Very kind, helpful host (Francesca), good Italian breakfast served in a comfortable dining room, you can sit outside too. You can walk to a local Pizzeria (Galle D'oro). Basic decor but very good food (cooked fresh). Francesca helped us book the ferry and saved us money. It was like stepping back in time, gentile, old fashioned good service.

A very quiet location in a beautiful garden. Good Italian breakfast and a kind and helpful host who collected us from the station. The town has some very good restaurants and train links to local places of interest, Reggio and Scilla which are well worth a visit.

There is an arduous uphill walk back from the town centre.

Breakfast was great, including a fresh cooked omlette. Location very convenient for ferry terminal. Free parking was provided inside the grounds of the villa. The host and her staff were very kind to provide assistance for dealing with an unexpected health issue.

A great place to stay for a peaceful night's sleep before taking the ferry to Sicily. Very comfortable bed and great shower, lots of little extras in the fine bedroom to make it special. Excellent breakfast, catering to north European tastes on request. Super coffee. Host Francesca is very kind and friendly and offered to collect us from the station; however the Villa is only a 15 minute stroll. Architecturally impressive villa with great views across to Sicily from the garden. Very highly recommended.
