Close to the train station / central bus station / harbour / cathedral. Basically it's in the perfect place. The price is very good and the breakfeast is rich and has lots of options. This is our second stay here already and we will definitly come back. The host and staff speak english very well and are very flexible. Check in was possible much earlier and check out could be extended until 12:00 without extra charge. The rooms and the bathrooms are spacious, clean and tastefully furnished. Each room has a minibar and a tea station. Soap and other small bath utilities are provided for free. We booked 3 rooms this time and every room was top notch.

- We informed the host that we will arrive around 19:45 and got several messages that check-in after 20:00 is not possible; although we arrived in time and checkin was straightforward, it did not feel good before arrival that a small delay in the journey to Messina might cause big check-in trouble - Wifi was not stable and fast all the time

The location right opposite the old town was very convenient. Breakfast room was bright and cheery. Breakfast spread was limited but adequate. We had croissants, toast and boiled eggs with ham and cheese. But on the 2nd day, there was no ham. Host Fabio was responsive and friendly. We could leave our luggage after check out and return for them later.

The shower stall was quite narrow and we knocked ourselves a few times during shower. There's plenty of space outside the shower stall and could afford a wider shower stall.

Great location, friendly staff, delicious buffet breakfast with a great selection. We had stopped for one night on our way from Taormina to Palermo and we had stayed at some nice expensive hotels but this was by far our favorite they had air con and smart tvs comfortable beds and large rooms, great shower pressure. We had a balcony overlooking the harbor and some big cruise ships came in which was fun to look at. We walked into town and had parking right out front.

We were greated immediately by a wonderful smiley helpful gentleman. The room was spotless, homely and warm, the bed very comfortable and bedding super clean. everything was explained to us, answers to our queries immediately provided. We felt safe and very well looked after. The breakfast just WOW! again everything spotlessly clean, good attention to detail and host couldn’t do more to please. It was the best! Thank you!! You should be very proud of all your hard work! it definitely shows!

Loved it all

The breakfast was absolutely amazing, delicious food in a lovely room with view of the sea. Coffee, tea, juice, cereals, bread, pastry, everything you could ask for. The room was very clean and beautiful, the view of an old church and the inner city was breathtaking. everything is near, the port is next door, train station is a short walk. The best part of the b&b is the staff, so helpful and welcoming and all around lovely.

The location is very good, close to several places, the staff is super welcoming and friendly and the room was very cozy

The only thing I didn't like 100% was that there was a tram passing right next to my bedroom window, so there was a lot of noise from it and the cars too, but overall I sleep pretty easily so it didn't bother me much.

Hotel is on the first floor in an old building but fitout seems to be quite new. Very spacious room compared to some, lots of space to put things, hanging space, spacious bathroom, good shower, heaters so towels were warm. Good breakfast included. Staff pleasant and helpful including checking us in early. The location is good as it is walking distance to the ferry to Villa San Giovanni, lots of restaurants close by.

The only downside is that it was noisy at night. The windows aren't double glazed or even sealed particularly. If that could be fixed this would be a great hotel.

Location, cleanliness, proprietor service

Rooms looking toward the see side are a bit noisy . Even though everything looks quite new, the finishing isn’t really good quality . Mixer faucet for example are either difficult to close (shower continued dripping) or hard to open (tap in my case), toilet seat wasn’t well fixed , etc

Very nice and clean apartment, spacious bathroom and comfortable bed. Short walk to the station and has a small lift to get up to the hotel. Parking on the street was a little difficult to find but we managed. Delicious breakfast was included, with a variety of foods and drinks. Fabio and the staff were very friendly and happy to help.

A little noisy at night as is on the Main Street.
