Stop for one very rainy night between trains. Good location short walk from train station. Good service from the staff and good breakfast. Hotel is old but confortable coffee and water is not provided in the room a bit of a surprise being charged for every cup of coffee served in the lobby as my payement was refused at the time of ordering it so be ware no complimentary coffee with the room Could not find an open restaurant in the area before 8:00pm …

Location excellent. Short walk to the city centre. We left our hire car for the four days of our stay in the hotel's free parking spaces. We used the train to travel to Taormina and Catania. The train station is very close. Good sized room, large bed, large shower, ample breakfast and extremely helpful and courteous manager, all at a bargain price.

Domenico, Jana, and Antonella were the most wonderful, warm hotel personnel one could ever hope for!! From a perfect granita AND cappuccino in the morning to a spotless room with clean sheets and towels, the service was outstanding, but the personalities of these three won me over day after day!! The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The public areas were well maintained. The hotel was conveniently located for access to the main town area and bars & restaurants. Also, the hotel was only about 350m from a multi storey car park. The staff were very friendly and eager to help.

The hotel was clean and comfortable but there were areas of shabbiness (broken hook in the bathroom, loose screws on the door handle, screws on the shelving unit in the bedroom coming out).

We’ve stayed here before and returned when in town. It’s a very handsome property for the reasonable price - walking distance (even pulling bags) to the train and bus station. Several eateries are within a couple of blocks. The breakfast is really outstanding, offering boiled eggs, cheeses, rolls, cold cuts, fruits, juices,and a variety of sweets. The coffee is great.

Very good location in best distance to restaurants, ferry, old town. Very quit. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was made fresh and excellent. Clean rooms.

My room was fantastic - spacious, light and very clean

There was a bit noise from the street below but considering the location of the hotel, this was to be expected

The location was within walking distance to the train station and sightseeing. The front desk staff was very helpful as we arrived before the room was ready. WE were able to leave our bags while we did some sightseeing and when we returned, our bags had been delivered to the room.

Great central location, easy walk to station about 400m and easy walk to square and restaurants. Lovely breakfast room .. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was in a good location in the old town town, right by the port and the ferries. The room was spacious and comfortable. Good value for money.
