It is very close to the airport. The staff was helpful: they were going to put us on the second floor but don’t have an elevator, so because we had very heavy luggage, immediately changed us to a ground floor room. The room was obviously made to be handicap-accessible, as it was roomy and the shower was large and open, with safety features and a seat. The air conditioning worked well, and the room had a mini fridge. The property has a security gate.

It was VERY noisy. Not only is it in the airport’s flight path, the water pipes, I guess from the upstairs room(s), were so loud that they woke me up.

The check in process was super easy, and the staff very helpful. I like the fact that the property is privately owned, the owners were super cool. I had three meals at the Greek restaurant next door to the hotel. I highly recommend staying here as it is convenient and comfortable.

This was a last minute booking due to the original one cancelling. We arrived 1am and they had someone available to check us in which was the most stressful part of our trip. We were there for less than half a day but it was perfect for what we needed. Right across the road is the free buses back to the airport as well :) so don't worry about another uber cost there.

We weren't 100% sure if our bedding had been changed. We had blood stains on the sheets and on the top cover and ended up sleeping without any blankets that night and turning the heater on.

Excellent and helpful communication with management and staff. Was able to arrange an early check-in for a small fee (the Sunset Ltd arrived over an hour EARLY at 4:15AM -- sheesh). Externally looked a bit unimpressive but oh, a lovely garden/courtyard. Proximity to airport was original main concern. And wow: Aliki's Restaurant attached was a Class #1 discovery: ethnic Greek food done properly, even retsina available! Mundane food also available but why bother with hamburger when the souvlaki + pita bread is to die for? (but closed Sundays) Hotel room was ample, coffee maker and coffee/sugar etc (bring your own tea), beds comfy, bathroom good, excellent blackout curtains and reasonable soundproofing.

No getting away from it being close to the airport on a major runway approach. But we found that although the planes were noticeable the soundproofing was enough for them to sound like a quickly passing heavy truck, and we got to the point of not noticing. Also, planes are curfewed (6:30 AM startup, 11:00PM end (? or thereabouts)

I found it easy to check in and the bloke was easy going and helpful at reception.It was the cheapest in the area and it was alright for the price.Big double bed,Clean showers and toilets and sheets and pillows was clean too.They also had a fridge,iron,ironing board and kettle with sugar, coffee and sugar with sachet milks. Getting there was easy too if you knew how to.I caught the free shuttle for Hertz rental cars before check in and after check out.I would give it a 8 out of 10.I would definitely book again if needed to in future. Thanks.

Maybe it was because my expectations were low going into it. However, management was wonderful, room was updated and clean, bed was comfy (slept great even though there were planes flying overhead). Some dudes decided they needed to run a jack hammer at 10p right outside, the owner/manager was right on it. The hertz was right across the street for a ride to the airport which was great at 5am. We will stay there again next time we are in town. Perfect for our short stay.

the staff!! especially this guy around mid 20s… he is such a sweetheart, he helped move my car from the alley and into a parking spot right infront of the hotel!! (my sister and i had visited for HARD Summer) he is so so SO kind!!!! very PLUR!! & the room, the bed (very large bed) it was very clean upon arrival. would definitely 10/10 stay here again!

the parking situation there is very little spaces and i believe theres another shared lot nearby

After a long plane trip from Puerto Rico, I did not want to ride my motorcycle for an hour and a half at night to get home, so this hotel was a great place to spend the night. The staff was friendly, and the place was clean and quiet.

The neighborhood around the hotel is not great, especially when I arrive late at night. But we are talking about an area in Los Angeles around the LAX airport. This is expected. It could be way worse, believe me.

We enjoyed staying at Skyways Hotel. Having access to the Hertz free shuttle service was great. The check-in process was simple and staff helpful with pointers for us being out-of-towners. Room was clean, functional and all in working order. Our stay was for 2 days so the no daily servicing of the room would have what we requested even it was a service offered. Food was great at Greek restaurant beside the hotel.

Yes, the planes can be heard overhead however were not particularly noticable. No planes operated from 1am to 4am. Besides it is so close to the LAX airport.

Ok so I work remotely and planned my travel accordingly. So I was able to take a hot shower, rest, and hit all of my meetings. I needed to stay a little later than check out and they accommodated for a little upcharge. It was perfect. I was walking distance from the airport if I didn't want to take the FREE shuttle! It was great.

I wish it were closer to food. I like to walk. So I don't order in that often when I am traveling. And it took me a minute to find food.
