The first morning (a Friday), the breakfast selection was good. We stayed for a week. The weekend came and the food supply was wiped out. Selection ran out and was not replenished. We had to go elsewhere for breakfast. That was disappointing.

I didn't like not having breakfast available.

I travel a lot from Texas to Colorado. Blackwell is just about halfway and as a senior, I find it beneficial to split the 1100 mile trip into two days, particularly since I am traveling alone. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times, and always have a great experience. The staff are always nice, the room clean, the bed comfy. I will be staying here again in January. The location is also great- close to the interstate and near a fabulous Mexican food cafe.

Nothing, everything was fabulous!

I was a little worried after reading reviews but thought I'd give them a try, I'm glad I did! The room was spacious and clean, the bed and pillows very comfortable. Very close to I-35, shopping and restaurants minutes away. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was the only disappointment. The only hot option other than the usual make your own waffles was Biscuits and gravy......... the biscuits were okay and the gravy decent, probably canned. Otherwise an assortment of small rolls, yogurt, dry cereal, etc. Fortunately the was a McDonalds on the way out. Step this up and it would be great!

Staff was great working thru a booking problem.

Barefoot in the open breakfast area should be banned. It is disgusting and I can't get over grown men believe it's ok. Remember the signs "no shoes, no shirt, no service"? They were posted for health reasons and should still be practiced today.

Impressed with staff and comfort of room. Compared to costlier motels on our vacation, this motel outshone them all. That is way we chose to stay again on our way home.

Wasn't that impressed with breakfast, but then I'm not a breakfast person. The location off the interstate and getting to the motel was a little tricky the first time. But these are just being nit picky on my part.

Great location, just off the interstate, close to restaurants and gas. Room was comfortable and the bed was cozy, best night of sleep in a while. Friendly and professional staff; Tray was very kind.

Breakfast was a bit sparse…fresh fruit would be a great addition.

The breakfast was awesome! The beds were very comfortable. The room temperature was pleasant. The staff was friendly.

The noise from the highway was loud enough to disrupt my sleep. There were also large trucks idling in the parking lot outside of my window that were very loud.

It was close to food and gas stations, and despite being next to the highway, it was nice and quiet.

I think only one of the light switches was not functional, but that wasn't that big of an issue.

The room was comfortable and clean. I appreciate the service. Left my keys at the front desk and the clerk brought them up to me. Thanks

Shower head is always to high for me to change it's position. It would be nice to have a shower head with an attached hose.

Nice comfortable beds.

Room floors not vacuumed completely. Room maintenance needs to be done. Toilet paper holder falling off wall. Handle on bathroom cabinet falling off. Shower tile grout needs work and cleaning, mold starting.
