The resort was small which made everything easily accessible. The grounds were well manicured, and they have extremely clean pools. Everything was CLEAN. For a solo traveler the room was a perfect size. I’d think it’d be comfortable for a couple as well. The beach is quite tranquil, if a bit mossy. Most importantly, the staff who I had reason to interact with were friendly and professional

The furnishings and fixtures, both interior and exterior, require an upgrade. The buildings too need trimmings mended or completely changed. The rusting steps in the bar pool was an eye sore. The plastic cups also need to go. If you don’t look too hard you might miss these things, but seeing them gives the hotel a cheap, run down look.

Breakfast was excellent. Location not bad. Staff was great, very friendly.

Entertainment needs more vibes. Give incentives (for example: a bottle of wine for birthday or anniversary), something for guests to take back home. Guests like these little things thats why they keep coming back.

The scent in the bathroom which is obviously coming from the sewer system needs to be addressed.

The entertainment wasn't great, was looking forward for better, there was no club that you could go dance and chill

Patio umbrellas - need more!

Beautiful resort in a picturesque and secluded setting, location by the beach. There's an array of amenities, including pools, bars and water sport. The food was great with plenty variety, to suit all, and the desserts were delightful. Staff were outstanding. The entertainment team was fantastic, and the evening entertainment was very good. Tevin, our host on Christmas Eve, was a stand-out.

Check-in was a bit lengthy, as each of us had to fill out paper forms. On entering our rooms, it felt as if we'd entered a freezer. It was advised not to turn off the air conditioning, but it was too cold to leave on, and there was no happy medium. The Rum Punch cocktail tasted like a fruit punch. It was so weak that we had to ask for an extra shot of rum every time we ordered one. We didn't think it was cool that the bar ran out of white rum on Christmas Day.

The place was clean .

No elevators and all breakfast meats were pork for the entire week I felt like I could not enjoy a good breakfast. The buffet is small in comparison to other resorts but it had food choices to eat . They had no station where you can enjoy real Jamaica food .

Pools & slides games area was great.

The red tiles and chairs in the main dining room , both out dating mk the space less classy.

My stay at Jewel Paradise Cove was excellent. The food was delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner. I visited the Asian restaurant where I was treated to an excellent meal that was cooked in front of me. I was also entertained by the chief. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was big, spacious and clean. I picked an hibiscus flower and place it in my room for my partner . The house keeper use it to make a swan a long with a towel and decorated my bed. I was so surprised and delighted. I smiled from ear to ear. That made my day, I felt special. Very creative housekeepers.I love my Jamaica. The staff was friendly. Thanks Derron for the nature walk tour even if I was the only person. He explained about every tree, plant and flower on the property. I learned alot. The water slide was lovely. The beach and pools clean and relaxing. Overall my stay was enjoyable and relaxing. I would visit Jewel Paradise Cove again.

The fact that the nightclub was not open. So the dance floor was infront of a restaurant in the open.I think more guest would want to dance more in an enclosed space. There are no elevators.

My husband is Vegan, Chef Frederick prepared special tasty meals for him. The servers were courteous and friendly special shout out to Delissa. Our house keeper, Nadine was courteous and kind. She made sure that our room was fresh and clean daily. The Concierge made sure we had what we needed. I had an amazing birthday trip. Loved the Street Party which was on my birthday. Great food and entertainment.

The silent party one night where everyone was given headphones to listen to music We would have preferred if the music was playing in the open so everyone could have fun dancing as a group.
