The room, proximity to the river, onsen, and shuttle bus service. The shuttle not only takes guests to the station but to other locations close to the hotel such as the sake distillery. The river is also close for a swim in the summer. The store in the lobby was full of great gift wrapped food and made in Japan items to take back home.

The lobby has free drinks and some alcohol for sale. However at one time the dispenser for wine was broken and instead of offering an alternative solution to offering wine and sake to guests they simply said, “sorry, it’s broken”. Only a small complaint however compared to an otherwise great stay.

The onsen or Spa was easily accessible, spacious and clean; the meals were delicious and served by courteous staff. Taking a stroll in the nearby park with trees replete with new spring foliage and the sound of the flowing river were pleasing and relaxing.

Our room was Japanese style with no side table and reading lamp. The clock was small and placed some distance from the futon mattress.

Great onsen and amazing rooms. Very spacious and clean with beautiful river views. Their breakfast was amazing with some vegetarian options like fruits, salad, breads and corn flakes.

We did a mistake ourselves that we booked the wrong accessible room which has hospital beds, they were flexible to let us change the room to a lower priced room about 2500 yens cheaper. But they charged the full price..

Kamenoi Hotel Ome is great value. Our room was very clean, comfortable and had a beautiful view of Tama river and Okutama mountains. Included was the hotel's health-restorative hot spring spa. The restaurant served delicious meals with staff who were so polite and helpful.

A lovely hotel with incredible staff. Great room and facilities. My friends are vegan and the staff went out of their way to make sure the included dinner menu was modified for them so they could enjoy it. Thank you to the chef and the restaurant staff for being so kind and accommodating!

Food and the onsen with the scenery - nothing can compete that indeed. Also the spa in 3rd floor was also perfect. It is a relaxed and refreshed journey esp. I just did 54 km hiking through the Okutama area.

Everything, it’s a hidden gem, they have a samurai sword smith near by that gives 1 in 1 lesson on blade making and u get to keep the mini katana that u forge during class.

The room was a bit old and quite small and the onsen close very early in the morning so you can't go after the breakfast.

The room was beautiful, the bath was fantastic. The staff was friendly. Private onsen for Tattoo'd folks to use.
