We stayed in one of the villas. It was so peaceful, and the gardens surrounding the villa were lovely. We enjoyed the outside spa tub - it was very private. The room was spacecous and had good air conditioning. The location was ideal (with a rental car) as we could access much of the island easily. We did the diving tour from the hotel which was convienient. The breakfast and dinners were great, although the dinner was quite pricey.

We stayed in one of the villas (bungalows) on the hotel grounds, which were spacious and comfortable. The main hotel building has a retro feel, something we actually really enjoyed. The hotel makes a great base for exploring the island by car. We highly recommend the Yarabudake and Nosoke Mape trails, both are short but steep and slippery, so be sure to wear proper shoes rather than sandals or flip-flops. One highlight was the on-site onsen, which we used daily.

The breakfast options catering to Western tastes were quite limited. We also tried the buffet dinner but found it underwhelming. Fortunately, there are some good restaurants in the nearby village, which is about a 25-minute walk from the hotel. Be aware that water activities and equipment rentals, such as kayaks, are expensive.

The Hotel was a little dated but it didnt matter , the rooms were very nice with great views. It was right on the beach and very quiet . The food was very nice , mostly Asian . We had the buffet dinner twice and it was quite good value for money. We needed to move rooms for our final night but we went straight into our new room without having to wait which was great. We went on a snorkel tour, which was so good we wanted to do it again! The Hotel had a coin laudry which was a useful addition.

We tried to eat out once but it was hard to find other places close by. The weather wasnt great . We went in July and it is typhoon season . We had sun cloud rain and wind all in one day.

The perfect location for beach lovers, nature lovers, and those who like the quiet life. Situated on a quiet cove just down from Sukuji beach (which has a jellyfish net), near Kabira Bay and other beauty spots on the rural northern part of the island. The room was huge, more like a suite, with everything you need and very clean, the staff were lovely. I had a room overlooking the ocean on the 7th floor and the views from the balcony were stunning. If you love Family Mart snacks stock up before checking in as these are mostly around the Southern side of the island (only a 30 min drive away). There’s a restaurant serving local food and a bar which sells great toasties. It really is a comfortable stay in the middle of paradise.

It is slightly dated, though this doesn’t detract from the property. I’ll definitely be rebooking this hotel when I return to Ishigaki.

The hotel has ample parking and is not too far driving from the airport. We rented a car at the airport and dropped our bags off in the morning prior to check-in. I believe there is also a bus from the airport which stops at the door of the hotel. The staff on reception were very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. The room itself was phenomenal, very large and with a surreal view out over the sea. Everything in the hotel was very clean and they provided us with all the necessary amenities for free. The breakfast buffet has a wide range of foods. We also booked a snorkelling tour at the hotel to see clownfish and manta rays, it was really well organised and we were lucky enough to see both animals. The location of the hotel is also amazing, very close to Kabira Bay and Yonehara Beach.

We had dinner one night at the hotel choosing the barbecue option. It was very overpriced and we were a bit disappointed with the food. We preferred to eat at some restaurants in Kabira. Le Dodo was our favourite restaurant in Kabira, we ate there twice. We also enjoyed a meal at Sushi Jimbei in Kabira. If you have rented a car then there are plenty of family mart shops if you drive about 25 mins south to Ishigaki City. Our room at the hotel had a fridge freezer so we were able to stock up on groceries at the start of the week. Ishigaki Island Fruits Land was another favourite near to the hotel for fruit juices, fresh fruit and sorbet. We also enjoyed fresh fruit juice at Kabira Farm

Magnificent view even when is raining and have everything like food, the little shop and the tours that they offered. First time at the hotel I saw stingrays and this time I saw a sea turtle! Also, they have for sports too and I loved it. If you are searching for a peaceful place away from the city and have fun, this hotel is the perfect choice.

The property is far from the city, 30-35 minutes away, but it is fine anyways.

The staff was really friendly and you could some great activities such as diving, snorkeling, SUP, etc. The view from the room was right to the sea and it was beautiful. The breakfast was good, with a variety of local food. The dinner buffet had the local ice cream brand and also sashimi, which were good. The dishes with chunks of pork, and the ones with cheese were good.

Although the beach in front of the hotel was beautiful, it has many rocks and I ended up hurting my foot. Besides the dishes mentioned before, most dishes were ok, with a few not very good. The beef sushi was dry. Moreover, even though we got a pamphlet saying that there was a barbecue option available for dinner every day, when we tried to make a reservation the staff told us it was unavailable. The bathtub had a few small chips and the corner of the bathtub with the floor was a little dirty.

Location by the seaside, in a quiet shallow bay. Outside pool. Bach near the hotel. Additional beach with protective net just a 5 minuts walk, south from hotel. Spacious room, balcony, nice sea view. Big car parking, lat off space. We enjoyed good drinks at the bar.

Toilet in a very small room. Small TV-set. No chairs/table at balcony. Both beaches not suitable for swimming during low tide.

The seaview was amazing, as well as the dinner buffet. Highly recommend both, getting a room with seaview and the dinner included in the reservation. Great selection of foods, including fresh fish and desserts. You can rent towels as well if you plan to travel around the island.

Only thing I would improve is a proper coffee machine. The one available in the hotel is based on instant coffee.

Nice hotel with great gardens and a private Sandy beach. Great area to swim. Please ignore the wire picture, that was a picture of a different hotel calledIshigaki Beach Hotel Sunshine!

It was half an hour from the airport and even longer to the city/ferry terminal. Getting taxi’s everywhere made the costs rack up
