The staff was wonderful. Some basic English spoken as well as English materials with hotel info. Very clean, lovely room layout, comfortable beds and soft towels. Little vending machine area with a microwave. Close to mall, shops, and restaurants. My room had a nice view of the city.

The fridge was so cold it froze my drinks I placed inside. That can also be my fault for not checking so make sure to check the temp. Breakfast not free so I didn't have it. It's a bit far from the station if you're on foot so getting there with luggage was annoying but that's not the hotel's fault.

Bed and pillows were so comfortable! Room was spacious enough to open suitcase. View wasn’t amazing but could look far, as in not to another building which was nice. Curtains did a good job of blocking out light. AC was nice and gentle and didn’t blow directly onto face when sleeping so the climate was perfect. Parking was easy outdoor plenty of spaces. I had the best sleep in a long time!

Soundproofing not great.

All the staff was nice and friendly. The bed was super comfortable, the Simmons mattress was a very pleasant surprise. The room had all the necessary amenities. Overall it was a great stay for a reasonable price.

The location is not the best, quite far away from everything. They waste too much plastic, there is absolutely no need to replace the toothbrush and all the amenities every day when the housekeeping makes up the room.

The breakfast was, especially considering the price of the room, very nice! Our room got upgraded and was on the top floor which was nice.

The location is not super convenient for Izumo, not close to the train station, and not close to the shrine. But if you have car / bike or are ok with taking bus it’s ok. The window of the room couldn’t be opened, which is always a minus point for me, I like to get fresh air in the room.

Single room comfortable and clean. The breakfast provided was nice too and the big plus was the onsen ! Staff was really nice too ! I recommend !

Not the best in terms of locations for a solo traveler without a car. Not many public transportation available nearby but it's still doable! :) You have many restaurants and mall around though !

This is my second stay at Izumo Royal Hotel, and it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is a bit 80s, but it is very well kept, and extremely clean. The staff is kind and welcoming. I recommend it!

There was a wedding going on at the time of my stay and many of the guests were on the same floor as my room. I think the doors need to be a little more soundproof as I could hear ANYONE talking in the hallway
