I really liked that there seemed to be an even mix of younger and senior staff members, and that made the experience very pleasant. While younger staff sometimes feel a bit harder to approach these days, the senior staff were warm and friendly, giving a comfortable impression. I also loved that there was a portable child’s bed in the room, so there was no worry about a child falling off. It made it possible for them to sleep safely and securely. The room view was fantastic, making me want to stay longer. The nearby tourist spots had a charming vibe, which made them great for taking pictures. The restaurants in the area also tasted pretty good, so it was convenient to eat there. Overall, I had a wonderful time staying here.

The room floor is carpeted. Since most hotels are like that, I guess there's no helping it.

The location is excellent with most of the attractions within the vicinity. The rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds and the bathroom amenities added to the overall comfort. Our room had view of the Banana Man and the shopping mall. We enjoyed the breakfast in the hotel which has wide varieties to choose from. It was not only delicious but also offering wine in the morning which was a delightful surprise. The Blue Wing Moji Drawbridge (pedestrian crossing bridge) is right infront of our hotel and we could watch it being drawn in the day. It was indeed an interesting sight. The Kanmon Tunnel Footpath is a short walk from our hotel and we walked over to Shiminoseki and to Karatsu Market. We bought some stuffs from the market and also had our shashimi lunch there. The seafoods were so fresh and so delicious. The only setback is that there's no proper place to sit and enjoy our food. Anyone looking for a comfortable stay with interesting sights, this is the place to be.

One thing to note is that the lobby is on the lst floor and we did have to climb up the stairs, carrying our own luggage which wasn't an issue for us. It may be something to consider for those with mobility concerns as I am not sure if they have a lift to access it.

The Premier Hotel is high class accommodation for a very affordable price. Every room has incredible views . The hotel lobby is spacious and there was a piano recital just after check in. Our room was clean and comfortable and although it didn’t face the port we still had water and city views. The public spaces in Mojiko were lit up with fairy lights in the trees and it was very pretty. The town has interesting old style western architecture and the hotel is also an easy walk from the train station and the ferry. The highlight of our stay was the Amazing breakfast buffet. So many delicious choices and good coffee. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

There were not many local restaurants in walking distance and they all seemed to only make curry.

The spacious room has a great view of the sea, the bridges and the buildings on the opposite coastline. One can even see the drawbridge being opened and closed from the room window. It was a luxury to be able to sit in the room and enjoy the outside view any time of the day. Was even able to see the sunset. Breakfast was generous in terms of choices and quality. If seated near the windows, one can even see the morning sky and the sea view while eating breakfast.

The lobby is on the second floor. Still there is the lift, the stairs or the side ramp entrance.

The view of the Kanmon Straits from the Hotel room was exceptional. The staff mostly had reasonably good English skills, slightly surprising as Moji-Ko is not an international tourist destination. The breakfast was OK- not exceptional but perfectly reasonable. The rooms were clean and the standard of room service was good. Overall a place I would return to. There is allegedly a staff shortage in Japan (because of demographics) but i saw no evidence of this in this hotel.

The booking system using Booking.com did not include breakfast yet 95% of guests (I know as I was shown the list) had breakfast included. This a a fault with Booking.com not the hotel. The other fault is one with all hotels in Japan and that is total inflexibility around check in and check out times. It seems as if Japanese hoteliers believe guests only arrive in the mid-late afternoon and all want to depart in the morning. Yes I know they will store luggage and you can get extended check out but they charge a fee for that and typically that might only be for an extra 2-3 hours- but there can be times you might want to stay in the room a bit longer and some way of accommodating this (pardon the pun) would be a big improvement.

This was our fifth time to stay at this wonderful hotel. It is such a bargain when you stay here on weekdays! The great breakfast was perfect again. The ocean view rooms are worth the extra cost if you enjoy watching the ships go through the Kanmon Strait. Great beds, and the rooms now have individual temperature controls. We love this hotel and Mojiko!

We had noisy neighbors on one night but a quick phone call to the front desk stopped the noise in minutes!

This is our first time in Mojiko with exceptional experience. The hotel located at Mojiko Port which our son enjoy a port view with ships moving around. Convenient to walk around with lots of restaurants, shops and train station. We were lucky to experience the hotel fireworks as there was wedding ceremony. Staffs are well-trained with great service minded. Cozy breakfast area which need to wait a bit at lobby during peak hours but well-managed by staffs. Breakfast is beyond our expectation.

Only a bit pricey parking fee.

This was our fourth trip to Mojiko and our third time staying at the wonderful Premier Hotel. Our quiet twin room had plenty of space for suitcases on the city view side. Great beds, large bathtub, easy to open window for fresh air, room cleaning daily with new bottles of water, fabulous breakfast worth looking forward to. Reviewers who complain this hotel is old are mistaken, they probably were in the smallest economy room which was used the most. To turn off the a/c or heating, just press the A/C off button on the nightstand. For the price, this hotel is an amazing value. Best part is it’s only one block walk to the Mojiko Station and to Curry Honpo! We will be back!!

Like most hotels in Japan for bedding, Premier uses noisy, too warm comforters. We wish they could return to using normal blankets on the beds.

This was my fifth time staying at this hotel since November 2022. Every time I have been to this hotel, the stay was great. This time I came with four other friends from Hawaii and everyone loved this hotel. The oceanfront rooms with breakfast were on sale at the time I booked, so it was an incredible value. The breakfast was great again as usual.

About the only thing I can fault is the lack of a soft pillow choice, but that us normal in Japan.

This is our second time staying here, once before was a year ago. First time, we were in the huge Deluxe twin room, this trip we were in the much smaller Standard twin room. For this room we needed to place one of the chairs by the entry door in order to walk past them without bumping our toes on the chair legs. This chair space allowed us to store one small suitcase on the floor and one more opened on the folding rack. The room heating was much too warm until you turn off the A/C button located between the beds, then the temperature was just fine for both nights we stayed. Sleep quality was very nice on good beds, sound quiet was really great, even with our neighbors using their tv. The location and view is wonderful, that’s why we returned and would gladly stay here again. This hotel was an incredible bargain for us!

The desk chair was unusable due to lack of space, although this was not a problem for us.
