I actually booked the wrong date for this hotel, and came 2 months before my actual booking. I arrived close to midnight and was quite frantic since there were no other hotels in the area. Reception very kindly accepted my reservation which I am eternally grateful for. The hotel is very clean and quiet. Slippers and drinking water are provided. The hotel is actually quite large, and the breakfast buffet spread (although expensive) is well worth the price considering the variety and quality. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a beautiful view of Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge.

You might have some difficulty exiting Maiko Station correctly to locate this hotel at night. This is no fault of the hotel although there are some basic signs leading to the hotel from the station.

Nice big resort style hotel with well tended landscaped grounds and great views of Awaji Island and its famous bridge. This is an older facility, but it's in great shape overall, and our room was large and comfortable. We could even open the window overlooking the water and let the breeze in. The breakfast buffet is impressive and quite popular, so plan accordingly.

The hotel is close to the Maiko train station, but due to the location and size of the property, you will need a cab as walking to it isn't practical with luggage. Thankfully, we found one despite our late arrival time.

Gorgeous bridge view and easy to catch the highway bus to Awaji from Maiko station. Large twin room, slightly old but very clean. Instant coffee in the room. Not far to walk from Maiko station, follow the signs and use the elevator to get up the hill. Basement onsen quite nice but my skin was itchy afterwards. Can open window for fresh air. Four front loading washer/dryer combos with paid soap dispenser. I find these machines take a very long time and don't dry well.

Beds were hard and we found them quite uncomfortable. Available WiFi was unsecured. Only restaurant for dinner was 5000 yen per person buffet. Breakfast was 3000 yen per person and we didn't try it.

Beautiful view from the room that is worth everything. Also the room is very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is perfect! On-site parking, which was free of charge.

The spa is closed until the spring season. Little bit tricky to get to the train station, but it's only for the first time. It would be better to have an air purifier in the room to reduce the amount of dust.

We were travelling as a family of three. The room was spacious and comfortable for all of us, and the view from the room was absolutely stunning. Overall, it was a great experience. The only downside is that the location is quite far from Kobe city center — about 35 minutes away.

The hotel is located outside Kobe near a train station (about 7-10m walk). There are signs on the train station that guide you to the hotel. The train runs pretty often but less often than in the city. The room with a view of the bridge was excellent. We enjoyed watching the ships and traffic. The hotel itself is magnificent. The breakfast had a lot of choice and was really good.

nice hotel, with japanese and western style rooms; in walking distance of Maiko Stn and Akashi bridge, easy ride to Sannomiya or Himeji (though i did choose the location for easy access to colleagues); very spacious room (as i knew from previous stays) and nice bar to spend an evening overlooking Akashi bridge and chat to colleagues

the japanese style room we got didn't really meet my expectations regarding maintenance and service (some shoji screens missing, not the service i'd expect at a ryokan), so will choose western style room for my next visit

The rooms were wonderful. Especially the views. We had three rooms as there were five of us. It is a bit out of the way from the town center but that was okay as transportation was very easy to walk to. I would definitely recommend this place. There was a spa, gym and other.

Very convenient location right next to Maiko station, I had a work conference on Awaji the next morning. The breakfast was great and the hotel was very nice. The room was a comfortable size.

A lot of things closed early. The bar and spa both closed around 11. I also wished there was more info given about where the best place to view the bridge was or the rules for the spa. The dresser and tea kettle in the room also looked quite beat up.

The restaurants were too expensive for us with little accommodation for non Japanese speaking guests and no convenience type store but everything else was so pleasant.

A little more help with language translation menu for example and more convenience style foods. We’re not all attending a wedding or event.
